Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Jackson-Davis will not be available for a second straight game, and his absence does not impact fantasy basketball. Warriors coach Steve Kerr has used Draymond Green as the starting center, and rookie Quinten Post surpassed Jackson-Davis in the rotation before that change was made. The Warriors have also used Kevon Looney in the rotation, so there hasn’t been room for TJD.
  • GSW Center #21
Quinten Post played 12 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavericks, accumulating five points (2-of-3 FGs), four rebounds, and one three-pointer.
Post returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday, replacing Moses Moody. However, with Dallas starting the game without a center, the seven-footer out of Boston College didn’t provide much value. Draymond Green (13/5/5/3/2) played 31 minutes, with some of that time coming at the five, and veteran Kevon Looney (4/8/2/0/1) logged 15. With Wednesday’s game being the first of a back-to-back and the Warriors visiting Houston on Thursday, that may be a better matchup for Post. If Green or Looney don’t play, the rookie will be worth streaming in Golden State’s final game before the All-Star break.

Quinten Post amassed 18 points (7-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, one block, and four 3-pointers in 20 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Bulls.
One day after agreeing to a two-year standard contract, Post celebrated with one of the best performances of his rookie season. He shot 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, and the 18 points were two shy of his season-high. With Post playing well and Kevon Looney (two points, seven rebounds, and one assist) having Steve Kerr’s trust, Trayce Jackson-Davis has fallen out of the rotation. TJD only played four minutes on Saturday, accounting for two points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.
  • GSW Center #5
Kevon Looney provided a boost off the bench with 18 points (5-of-7 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and four blocks against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Quinten Post got the first start of his career at center, but the experiment was short-lived. He played eight minutes in the first half and contributed two turnovers and three fouls. Looney ended up filling most of the center minutes and started the second half in place of Post. This was a new season-high for both points and blocks for Looney, which led to arguably his best game of the season. Assuming Trayce Jackson-Davis remains out against the Suns on Friday, Looney will likely get the starting nod in that game.
  • GSW Power Forward #32
The Warriors will start Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II and Tracye Jackson-Davis against Chicago on Thursday.
Jackson-Davis will be back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in their last game. Kevon Looney got the start at center in that one, but after exiting early with an illness, he’ll return to playing a role off the bench.
  • GSW Power Forward #32
Trayce Jackson-Davis (right ankle sprain) has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game against Chicago.
TJD was initially questionable for the second night of this back-to-back, but he’ll be good to go. He moved to the bench in their last game, with Kevon Looney starting at center. That should continue in this game, with Quinten Post also seeing some minutes at center off the bench.
  • GSW Center #5
Kevon Looney (illness) is not on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against Chicago.
Looney exited early from their last game, which allowed Trayce Jackson-Davis and Quinten Post to split the majority of the center minutes. Looney moved into the starting lineup for that game and should remain in that role for this game.

Trayce Jackson-Davis (right ankle sprain) is questionable to play against the Bulls on Thursday.
TJD was pushed to the bench for their last game, but Kevon Looney’s early exit with an illness allowed him to play a significant role off the bench. If Jackson-Davis sits out the second leg of this back-to-back, Looney and Quinten Post will split the minutes at center.
  • GSW Center #5
Kevon Looney (illness) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Looney started Wednesday’s game but only played nine minutes. His early exit resulted in more minutes for Quinten Post, who moved into the rotation behind Trayce Jackson-Davis. Jackson-Davis is the only Warriors center worth rostering in most leagues, whether he starts or not.
  • GSW Center #5
Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, and Kevon Looney will start Wednesday’s game against Sacramento.
Warriors coach has made two changes to his starting lineup in the aftermath of Monday’s 40-point loss to the Celtics. Hield and Looney are in, with Dennis Schroder and Trayce Jackson-Davis moving to the bench. While Hield can have a big scoring night, inconsistency has been an issue for him this season. As for Looney, his inclusion in the lineup may help Jackson-Davis avoid early foul trouble, and managers who have TJD rostered should not panic.
