HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports the Rockets signed G/F Kevon Harris to a two-way contract.
Harris appeared in 36 games for the Magic during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, averaging 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.9 minutes. While he did not play in the NBA last season, the 6-foot-6 wing flourished in the G League, averaging 19.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Harris is unlikely to impact fantasy basketball in Houston as a two-way contract player due to the Rockets’ depth.

Hawks signed Kevon Harris to a 10-day contract.
Harris signed a training camp deal with Atlanta last summer and returns after a stint with the Hawks’ G League affiliate. He’s unlikely to impact fantasy basketball.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #8
According to a report from Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto, Kevon Harris is singing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
Harris appeared in two games for the Orland Magic last season and averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 rebound per game.
  • LAC Shooting Guard #8
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Clippers have signed Kevon Harris to a training camp deal.
Harris spent the last two seasons with the Magic, appearing in 36 games. He had 34 appearances during his rookie campaign, as Orlando did not struggle with injuries as much in 2023-24 as it did the previous season. Harris did not impact fantasy basketball with the Magic, and that’s likely to be the case in Los Angeles if he makes the Clippers’ opening night roster.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #8
Kevon Harris (right knee soreness) has been ruled out for Friday’s matchup with Portland.
Harris was out on Wednesday as well, which left Joe ingles and Gary Harris as the main wings off the bench. Even when all three are healthy, none of them will play a large enough role to impact fantasy hoops. Kevon is a solid role player for them to have, so he may end up as part of their rotation, even if dynasty managers want to see Anthony Black and Jett Howard in the lineup at times.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #14
Gary Harris (left adductor strain) is questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with Houston, while Kevon Harris (right knee soreness) has already been ruled out).
Kevon wasn’t going to be a large part of their rotation anyway, but if Gary misses this game, then Cole Anthony, Anthony Black and Jett Howard should see some extra minutes. The Magic will be relying on a lot of point guards to play shooting guard, but there is a lot of talent in their backcourt.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #7
Kevon Harris led the Magic with 21 points (8-for-13 FGs), six rebounds, one assist and two steals against Detroit on Saturday.
Harris was in and out of Orlando’s rotation last season, and he didn’t see a ton of minutes when he did play. However, this is a good start to the summer for him, and it’s possible he earns a role in the Magic’s deep rotation. Unfortunately, it won’t be a high volume role, so it’s unlikely that he ends up contributing in fantasy hoops next season.
  • ORL Small Forward #2
Caleb Houston played 34 minutes in Sunday’s 123-110 loss to the Heat, accounting for 21 points (6-of-14 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), one assist, two steals, and five 3-pointers.
Houstan was the lone Magic starter to play more than 16 minutes in Sunday’s season finale, and he took advantage of the opportunity. The rookie wing hit the 20-point mark (and surpassed it) for the first time as a pro, with the 21 being nine higher than his previous season-high. The five 3-pointers were also a season-high for Houstan, who didn’t offer much fantasy value this season. His contract for next season is guaranteed, but Houstan’s play in Summer League (if Orlando has him play) will be critical with regard to establishing himself as a rotation player. Kevon Harris (22/8/2 with four 3-pointers) and Chuma Okeke (14/4/5/3 with four 3-pointers) reached double figures off the bench, with the latter facing an important offseason himself.

  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner (left ankle sprain) has been downgraded to out for Thursday’s matchup with Cleveland.
The Magic ruled out all five starters from their last game for Thursday’s rematch with Cleveland. There will be plenty of opportunities to go around, though Caleb Houstan and Kevon Harris should be the main beneficiaries from Wagner’s absence.

  • HOU Shooting Guard #00
Kevon Harris (left elbow bone bruise) is off the injury report for Tuesday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
Harris will make his return from a two-game absence, but his role for Orlando is not large enough for this to impact fantasy hoops.
