Kevin Love (personal) is out for Thursday’s game against the Hawks.
Absent from Miami’s initial injury report, Love has been ruled out for personal reasons. Hopefully, this situation will not keep him away from the team for an extended period. Regarding fantasy basketball, Love’s absence will have minimal impact since he has not been in the rotation recently.
  • MIA Center #13
Bam Adebayo (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Hornets.
A sprained left knee is why Adebayo is on the Heat injury report, having suffered the injury during Friday’s loss to the Rockets. If Bam cannot play against the Hornets, the Heat will rely even more on rookie Kel’el Ware, while Kevin Love will likely pick up additional minutes. Haywood Highsmith would also be in line for more playing time, but neither he nor Love offers much fantasy value.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (knee) is available for Saturday’s matchup with the Bulls, and Alec Burks (back) is out.
Ware will be back in action following a three-game absence, and he should reclaim his starting spot from Kevin Love. Burks’ second straight absence should free up additional minutes for Terry Rozier.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (knee) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
Ware is set to return from a three-game layoff. The Heat big man should bump Kevin Love from the starting lineup against Chicago.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (knee) has been ruled out against the Timberwolves on Friday.
This will be a third-straight absence for Ware, which will likely lead to a third-straight start for Kevin Love. However, Love has only averaged 14 minutes per game across Miami’s last two games. Kyle Anderson and Haywood Highsmith will come off the bench, but they’ll both play larger roles than Love.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier, Tyler Herro, Alec Burks, Kevin Love and Bam Adebayo will start Monday’s game against the Wizards.
In addition to Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr., the Heat are without Davion Mitchell and Kel’el Ware for Monday’s game. Rozier and Love move into the starting lineup, with the former offering a higher fantasy ceiling. Duncan Robinson and Haywood Highsmith will play rotation minutes off the bench.
  • MIA Center #13
Bam Adebayo (calf) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Friday.
Adebayo played through this calf injury against Atlanta on Wednesday, but there is a chance that it keeps him sidelined on Friday. Kel’el Ware will likely see a boost in usage and minutes if that happens, while Kyle Anderson and Kevin Love will be among the candidates to replace Adebayo in the starting unit. Anderson started in Bam’s most recent absence.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love (personal) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.
Love will be available after an extended absence for personal reasons. He isn’t usually guaranteed rotation minutes, but that may change if Bam Adebayo (calf; questionable) cannot play against the Hawks. There’s no need to add Love in most fantasy leagues.
  • MIA Center #13
Bam Adebayo (calf) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.
Adebayo played 37 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Hawks, tallying 14 points, five rebounds, one assist and two steals. If he’s unable to play in Wednesday’s rematch, the Heat will have a massive hole to fill in their rotation. Haywood Highsmith could re-enter the rotation, and Kevin Love (personal) can play a few minutes off the bench.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love (personal) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bucks.
Love’s continued absence for personal reasons does not impact fantasy basketball, as he has not been in the rotation most nights when available. Hopefully, he’ll be able to rejoin his teammates soon.
