Love

Love hasn’t seen the floor in a month and remains away from the team after missing their play-in win over the Hawks and Game 1 against the Cavs due to personal reasons. It’s unclear if or when Love will return to the team, and when he does, he won’t see the floor often.

Love last appeared in a game on March 21, and he only played six minutes in a loss to the Rockets that night. Hopefully, the veteran forward will be able to rejoin the Heat soon. His continued absence does not impact Miami’s regular rotation.

Love’s streak of absences will extend to 14 as he misses the Heat’s Play-In matchup with the Hawks. If Miami wins and advances to the playoffs, the team will face Cleveland in the first round, and Love will have a chance to return against his former team.

Jovic and Love have been out for extended periods, with the former last playing on February 23, while the latter did not play in 19 of Miami’s last 20 regular-season games. Due to the time missed, their absences will not impact the Heat rotation as the team looks to keep its season alive in Chicago.

Love has not been available since March 21, while Stevens has only appeared in three games this season. Their absences will not impact fantasy basketball, even with the Heat being without multiple rotation players.

Larsson will miss a second-straight game, and Love will sit out for an 11th straight. Love’s availability isn’t of much concern, but Larsson’s absence will free up more minutes for Kyle Anderson and Haywood Highsmith.

Wiggins’ continued absence has opened up a spot in the starting lineup, while Love’s has not significantly impacted fantasy basketball. Pelle Larsson has replaced Wiggins in the starting lineup, and the rookie is worth streaming in deep leagues. Haywood Highsmith’s playing time has increased off the bench, but Larsson is the player who deep-league managers should be targeting.

While Love’s continued absence does not significantly impact fantasy basketball or the Heat rotation, that is not true for Wiggins. His absence has resulted in more playing time for Pelle Larsson, who has started Miami’s last three games, and Haywood Highsmith. Larsson is the superior streaming option for managers seeking more offensive value.

Love remains away from the team for personal reasons and does not have a timeline for return. His absence does not impact fantasy basketball, as the veteran forward/center logs limited playing time when available.

Love will not play against the 76ers on Saturday as Miami kicks off a three-game road trip. Though he could rejoin the team later in the trip, Love hasn’t been part of the Heat’s rotation regardless of his availability this season.
