Kevin Huerter (thumb) and Jalen Smith (knee) are available to play against the Raptors on Tuesday.
Both players will be good to go after initially being listed as questionable. Huerter missed the first leg of Chicago’s back-to-back, but he should be back in the starting lineup for this game. Smith will be available after seeing a bump in minutes in the blowout loss on Monday, but with Zach Collins operating as the backup center, Smith’s minutes aren’t guaranteed.

Kevin Huerter (thumb) and Dalen Terry (calf) are questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Raptors.
Huerter and Terry join a number of other Bulls backcourt players on a growing injury list that suggests the team may punt this one against a tanking Toronto team. Talen Horton-Tucker would be in line for extra minutes if Huerter is sidelined.
  • CHI Point Guard #2
Lonzo Ball (wrist) is out for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Ball will miss yet another game with a wrist injury that’s kept him out since February 28. Kevin Huerter figures to continue to have a bigger role with the 27-year-old point guard sidelined.

Kevin Huerter (thumb) is out for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder.
With Lonzo Ball and Tre Jones also sidelined, Huerter’s injury could free up some additional playing time for Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips.

Lonzo Ball (wrist) is out for Saturday’s game against the Mavericks.
Ball continues to miss games with a wrist injury that’s kept him out since February 28. While the 27-year-old point guard is out again, he could return soon. Kevin Huerter figures to continue to see an increased role in his absence.

Kevin Huerter lit up the Lakers with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and five three-pointers on Thursday.
Huerter rebounded from Monday’s nine-point performance in a big way on Thursday. He reached 20 points for the second time in Chicago’s last four games, and after only hitting one triple over their two previous games, Huerter knocked down five of them as the Bulls won their fourth-straight game. Huerter also hit the 1,000th three-pointer of his career, which is a special milestone for the 26-year-old sharpshooter. He’ll look to carry this momentum into a matchup with Dallas on Saturday to wrap up the week.
  • CHI Point Guard #2
Lonzo Ball (wrist) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Ball has not played since February 28, but that may change as soon as Thursday night. His absence opened up a place in the starting lineup for Tre Jones, who was recently sidelined by a sprained foot. Kevin Huerter has moved into the starting five, and his playing time will likely decrease if Ball returns.

Kevin Huerter (thumb) is available for Saturday’s game against the Lakers.
Initially probable for Saturday’s game, Huerter is good to go. With Tre Jones (foot) out for at least two weeks, Red Velvet will likely remain in the Bulls’ starting lineup for the foreseeable future. This raises Huerter’s fantasy ceiling, making him worth rostering in deep leagues.
  • CHI Point Guard #30
Tre Jones (foot) is out for at least two weeks.
Jones sprained his left foot during Thursday’s game in Sacramento. His absence means Kevin Huerter should remain in the starting lineup, as there would be no need to move Huerter to the bench to make room for Josh Giddey. Red Velvet has been productive enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues when allowed to play starters’ minutes in Chicago.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #13
Kevin Huerter (thumb) is probable to play against the Lakers on Saturday.
Coming off his best game as a Bull, Huerter is dealing with a sprain in his right thumb, but he isn’t expected to miss Saturday’s game. Huerter has started the last five games for Chicago, and that isn’t expected to change.
