Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Caldwell-Pope will be available on Sunday after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His return will push Tristan da Silva to the bench, with the rookie not being an impactful player in fantasy leagues when used in a reserve role.
  • ORL Point Guard #50
Cole Anthony (toe) and Kentavius Caldwell-Pope (rest) are out for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Anthony was a late scratch Thursday with a toe injury and is set to miss another game Friday. Cory Joseph will likely continue to fill in for Anthony in the starting lineup. Tristan De Silva and Caleb Houstan figure to pick up more minutes with Caldwell-Pope resting.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.
After doing little in Monday’s loss to the Rockets, Caldwell-Pope was more active three nights later in a win over the Pelicans. Due to the 32 minutes played in New Orleans, the veteran guard is questionable for Friday night. If Caldwell-Pope does not play, Tristan da Silva and Caleb Houstan will figure more prominently within the rotation. Da Silva, a starter earlier this season when Franz Wagner was out, offers a higher ceiling for fantasy managers seeking a streamer.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played 21 minutes on Monday and finished with one rebound and one turnover against the Rockets.
KCP didn’t even attempt a shot in this game. The lone rebound kept this from being a true Tony Snell performance, but it was still a rather disappointing night for fantasy managers. Caldwell-Pope hasn’t played a significant offensive role this season, and this was an incredibly low-scoring game for Orlando. However, this was the first time that he didn’t get a shot attempt. Managers shouldn’t expect this quiet of a performance from KCP often.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was ejected from Wednesday’s game against the Hornets during the second quarter.
Caldwell-Pope received two technical fouls with 2.1 seconds remaining in the second quarter. The first was issued due to KCP and Charlotte’s Nick Smith Jr. exchanging words, and the veteran guard would receive a second immediately after for arguing with an official. Caldwell-Pope finished with two points (1-of-5 FGs) and three rebounds. With KCP done for the night, Jett Howard started the third quarter.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is available for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.
Caldwell-Pope is available after initially being questionable with a sore left hamstring. He’ll play both ends of a back-to-back for the first time since early January, so the veteran guard only playing 22 minutes on Wednesday may have factored into KCP’s availability. He’ll occupy his usual place in the Magic starting lineup.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is questionable to play against Denver on Thursday.
KCP logged 22 minutes in their win in Sacramento on Wednesday night, and now there is a chance that he sits out the second leg of this back-to-back. This is their first back-to-back set since early January, but KCP was able to play in both of those games. That doesn’t guarantee that he will suit up in his return to Denver. He spent the last two seasons there and helped them win a championship in 2023. If Caldwell-Pope sits out, Anthony Black and Tristan da Silva will be candidates to move into the starting unit, with both of them taking on extra minutes.

Anthony Black, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Goga Bitadze will start Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Caldwell-Pope is back in the Magic lineup after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Jazz for rest reasons. Tristan da Silva heads to the bench, where the rookie forward offers limited fantasy value. He’s safe to leave on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) is not on the injury report ahead of Monday’s game in Golden State.
KCP was a late addition to the injury report on Saturday and ended up missing their matchup with the Jazz despite it not being part of a back-to-back. Rest nights like that shouldn’t happen often, and he’ll be back for this game against the Warriors, which is the first of four games in six days. Tristan da Silva started in his place and should return to playing a reserve role.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) is out for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
A late addition to the Magic injury report, Caldwell-Pope is now officially out for Saturday’s game. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Tristan da Silva and Gary Harris the likely choices to fill the void. The former offers a higher fantasy ceiling and would be worth streaming if allowed to start. As for Harris, fantasy managers can afford to leave him alone, even if he starts.
