Keith McLeod sat out the second half of yesterday’s game with a groin injury.
He hurt himself warming up, but didn’t tell anyone, so he was put into the game and scored six points in the first half. At the break, the injury tightened up. He’s day-to-day.

In Sunday’s game, Keith McLeod twisted to reach an errant pass, and ended up causing a hamstring injury that will cost him two weeks.
“I had a hard time even walking yesterday,” McLeod said Tuesday. “I couldn’t even extend my leg in front of me, so I’m improved today. I can walk again.” He’ll remain on the active roster for the moment, but is expected to go on the IL so the Jazz can sign a temporary point guard to a 10-day contract. Raul Lopez should draw the starting assignment in the meantime.

The trade of Carlos Arroyo to Detroit just further solidifies Keith McLeod’s position as Utah’s starting point guard the rest of this season.
Raul Lopez and Howard Eisley will back him up. Both McLeod and Eisley will be free agents after the season, while Lopez has one year remaining on his contract, so the Jazz will remain on the lookout for their point guard of the future.

Troy Hudson’s injury has allowed Keith McLeod to become a reliable part of Minnesota’s rotation.
McLeod has performed well as Sam Cassell’s primary backup in Hudson’s absence. Most impressive is that he’s only turned the ball over eight times in 192 minutes. He’ll lose time when Hudson returns, but should be able to stick with the team.

Guard Keith McLeod has been traded to the Warriors along with Devin Brown and Andre Owens for Derek Fisher.
Fisher offers the Jazz a player who knows how to win and a competent backup for Deron Williams, while the Warriors get a stable of guards.

The Jazz signed forward Trey Gilder and Keith McLeod on Saturday.
We’re pretty sure these are ‘make good’ deals, so there is no guarantee that either of them will make the squad.

The Jazz waived G Keith McLeod.
The 32-year-old last appeared in an NBA game in 2007 and remains far off the fantasy radar. Utah also waived Scottie Reynolds, Paul Carter and Trey Gilder.

In what may be the most surprising line of the season so far, Keith McCleod had 17 points and 10 assists for the Jazz on Friday.
With Carlos Arroyo and Raul Lopez hurting, McCleod could have some value. Unfortunately, by the time you pick him up and get him active, Arroyo will probably be back.
