Keaton Wallace recorded a triple-double on Sunday with 15 points (7-of-20 FGs), 11 rebounds, 15 assists, five steals and one three-pointer in a 117-105 win over the Magic.
Game 82 always provides some fun stat lines, and that was the case in Atlanta on Sunday. Wallace recorded the first triple-double of his career and posted career highs in assists, rebounds and steals. Wallace has had some strong games this season when Trae Young is sidelined, which was the case once again on Sunday. The two-way guard likely won’t see the floor in the postseason, but it was good to see him take advantage of the opportunity in this game.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #2
Keaton Wallace, Terance Mann, Zaccharie Risacher, Mouhamed Gueye and Dominick Barlow will start Sunday’s game against the Magic.
The Hawks and Magic will meet again in Orlando in a play-in tournament matchup, and Sunday’s result will not change that. Wallace, Mann and Barlow move into the starting five, filling in for Trae Young, Dyson Daniels and Onyeka Okongwu. Also, don’t expect Risacher to take on a full starters’ workload ahead of Tuesday’s rematch.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
The Hawks and Magic will meet again in the play-in tournament on Tuesday, and Sunday’s result has no bearing in seeding. Young will sit out the regular-season finale, which means Keaton Wallace will move into the starting lineup and log heavy minutes. While a risky play, he’s worth slotting into lineups in active leagues.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Young is on the Hawks’ initial injury report for the same issue as in previous games, but he’s considered questionable for Sunday instead of probable. The Hawks will visit Orlando for their play-in tournament matchup early next week, and the outcome of the regular season finale won’t change that. If Young doesn’t play, look for Keaton Wallace to log significant minutes.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Magic.
Here we go again. The Hawks have again listed Young as probable; fantasy managers in active leagues should assume that he’ll play. If Young cannot play for some reason, Keaton Wallace, who is absent from the Hawks’ injury report, would get the start.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #2
Keaton Wallace (shoulder) is absent from the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Wallace has not appeared in a game since March 10, and a shoulder injury has kept him out for just over one week. Wallace won’t receive enough playing time to impact fantasy basketball as long as Trae Young is available.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #2
Keaton Wallace (shoulder) will remain sidelined against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
Wallace has been sidelined for over a week now with this shoulder injury. However, with Trae Young still healthy, Wallace likely wouldn’t have seen the floor even if he was healthy.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #2
Keaton Wallace (shoulder) is out for Thursday’s game against the Heat.
Wallace remains out with a shoulder injury, and his absence does not impact fantasy basketball. With Trae Young considered probable, Wallace likely would have been inactive if he were healthy enough to play.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #2
Keaton Wallace (shoulder) has been ruled out against the Rockets on Tuesday.
Wallace won’t be available, but he has only played a significant role when Trae Young is sidelined. With Young probable, Wallace may not have seen the floor if he was available.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
Young is considered probable on the Hawks’ initial injury report as usual. Unless there’s a surprising turn of events, he’ll be available to play against the Rockets. Keaton Wallace (shoulder), who would fill in for Young on nights when he’s unavailable, has already been made inactive.
