Guard Julius Hodge will begin workouts next week and should be at full strength by the start of training camp.
Hodge, who was shot four times while driving on April 8, should make a full recovery, but won’t have any fantasy value this season.

Nuggets guard Julius Hodge was expected to resume workouts in a week after undergoing minor surgery Friday to remove a bullet fragment from his left thigh.
That explains why he’s not playing in the summer league. He’s not expected to have much fantasy value this season, but the minor procedure should have him ready to play this season after being shot four times last year.

Julius Hodge is not on the Nuggets’ summer-league roster.
“It doesn’t mean anything,” director of player personnel Mark Warkentien said of Hodge. “Obviously, his medical condition continues to be monitored. If he’s not 100 percent, we’ll hold him out.” Hodge missed the end of last season after suffering four gunshot wounds.

Rookies Julius Hodge and Linas Kleiza will likely spend time in the NBDL for the Nuggets this season, according to George Karl.
“I wouldn’t mind the Denver Nuggets having the belief that every rookie plays in the D League for six weeks or a month,” Karl said. We’re guessing a huge number of rookies spend time in the NBDL at some point this season, with the exception of a few of the very highly selected players who will make an immediate impact to their teams.

Rookie Julius Hodge has been accused of sexual assault.
The 21-year-old is being accused by a 37-year-old woman, but details are very sketchy at this point. She was reportedly aware that he was an NBA players and was expecting him to “wine and dine” her. He’s still with the team and isn’t expected to be questioned until next week. Hodges attorney, Rick Kornfeld said no sex took place and added, emphatically, “This is not Kobe Bryant.”

The sexual assault charges that were brought against rookie Julius Hodge by a 37-year-old woman have been dropped.
It didn’t sound like there was much of a case to begin with and this has to be a huge load off the rookies shoulders.

Guard Julius Hodge will play in Europe this season.
He was waived by the Bucks last February and could return to the NBA after a year or two overseas.
  • MIL Shooting Guard
The Nets have settled on four non-roster invites to camp, with guard Julius Hodge, who played in Europe last year, leading the way.
Along with Hodge, who thinks he can also contribute at point guard, are Desmon Farmer (the D-League’s No. 2 scorer), veteran Dermarr Johnson and Brian Hamilton, a top D-League defender.
  • BKN Small Forward
The Nets waived Keith Van Horn, Eddie Gill, Julius Hodge and Brian Hamilton on Thursday.
Van Horn never even showed up in New Jersey after the trade from Dallas, while Gill and Hodge had an outside chance at making the team.
  • MIL Point Guard
The Nets signed Julius Hodge, Awvee Storey, Eddie Gill and Brian Hamilton to their training camp roster.
Gill is the only one likely to stick on the regular season roster, and even he won’t have a shred of fantasy value.
