LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Josh Okogie (hamstring) are out for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Ball is dealing with an ankle injury while Okogie continues to manage a hamstring injury. KJ Simpson, Nick Smith Jr., DaQuan Jeffries and Seth Curry are all candidates to benefit from the vacated minutes.

Josh Okogie (hamstring) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Magic.
Okogie is available to appear in a game for the first time since January 31. While the veteran wing should play rotation minutes in this matchup, he is unlikely to provide enough value to impact fantasy basketball. Managers can afford to leave Okogie on the waiver wire.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
Josh Okogie (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Magic.
Okogie has been out of the Hornets’ lineup since January 31 after suffering a strained left hamstring. His return to action won’t significantly impact fantasy basketball, but Okogie should play rotation minutes off the bench once cleared.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
Josh Okogie was sent to the Greensboro Swarm of the G League for a rehab assignment.
Okogie last played on January 31, but it sounds like he’s nearing a return with the parent club. Even if he’s back on the court before the end of the season, Okogie won’t see enough run to be impactful for fantasy hoops managers.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
Josh Okogie (hamstring) has begun individual on-court workouts and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Due to a strained left hamstring, Okogie has not played since January 31. While Monday’s announcement from the Hornets is a sign of progress in his recovery, the updated timeline means he’s unlikely to return to impact the playoffs in fantasy leagues. Tidjane Salaun should be a priority for the Hornets for the remainder of the season, even if he’s coming off the bench.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
Josh Okogie (hamstring) is out for Saturday’s game against the Wizards.
Sidelined since January 31 with a strained left hamstring, Okogie will not be available Saturday night. With Tidjane Salaun possibly returning from a sprained ankle, Okogie’s continued absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • CHA Power Forward #31
Tidjan Salaun (ankle) and Josh Okogie (hamstring) are out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks.
Salaun will miss a second straight game with a sprained ankle, while Okogie has not appeared in a game since January 31. The absences will not significantly impact fantasy basketball, but more minutes will be available to Seth Curry and Damion Baugh. The latter is worth watching ahead of the “silly season,” as he may be asked to play significant minutes to run out the string.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
The Hornets announced Saturday that Josh Okogie (hamstring) will be evaluated in three weeks.
Okogie injured his left hamstring during the third quarter of Friday’s loss to the Clippers. Further examination revealed a strain, and he will be re-evaluated in three weeks. In the short term, Okogie’s absence will free up minutes for DaQuan Jeffries. However, it’s possible that lottery pick Tidjane Salaun, who has been in the G League recently, will play more after the All-Star break.

Josh Okogie (hamstring) is out for Saturday’s game against the Nuggets.
Okogie was injured during the third quarter of Friday’s loss to the Clippers. He exited due to a case of tightness in his left hamstring. Okogie’s absence frees up minutes for DaQuan Jeffries and Seth Curry, among others, but there aren’t any reliable streaming options in the Hornets wing rotation.

Josh Okogie (hamstring) will not return to Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Okogie injured his hamstring during the third quarter, almost immediately after stealing the ball from James Harden. While he managed to convert the three-point play and stay in the game, the Hornets wing wasn’t on the court for long before needing to be subbed out. DaQuan Jeffries and Seth Curry may play more if Okogie has to miss time beyond the end of Friday’s game.
