Josh Giddey finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, a steal, a block and three triples across 37 minutes in Saturday’s win over Miami.
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet yet again as he produced his third triple-double of the 2024-25 campaign. He’s enjoying a productive first season in the Windy City, and he’s been even better over his last eight games with averages of 20 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in that span.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey posted 19 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and a steal across 39 minutes Thursday in a win over the Magic.
Giddey returned following a one-game absence and picked up right where he left off. His numbers have been up across the board since the All-Star break, and Chicago’s starting PG has averaged 21.8 points, 11.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists across his last seven appearances. He’s on a roll, and fantasy managers should continue to reap the benefits for the foreseeable future.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (quad) and Kevin Huerter (knee) have been upgraded to available to play against the Magic on Thursday.
Giddey is back after missing Tuesday’s game, while Huerter is returning following a two-game absence. Tre Jones and Dalen Terry will both likely return to playing roles off the bench, though Jones should still see plenty of minutes. Unfortunately for Terry, he didn’t play a significant role even when he was in the starting unit.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (quad) and Kevin Huerter (knee) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Huerter has missed Chicago’s last two contests while Giddey only missed their latest game. Tre Jones would benefit significantly from the absence of either guard.
  • CHI Point Guard #30
Tre Jones played 34 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Cavaliers, accounting for nine points (4-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, seven assists, one block and one three-pointer.
With Josh Giddey and Lonzo Ball out of the lineup, Jones made his first start as a Chicago Bull. And he did much of what fantasy managers have come to expect, providing solid value in the assists category. The eight rebounds were also good, and Tuesday’s performance was an example of why Jones can be valuable despite not doing much scoring. Of course, the absences had much to do with Jones playing 34 minutes. He’s only worth rostering if Giddey and Ball remain out.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (quad) and Lonzo Ball (wrist) are out for Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Giddey and Ball have been downgraded from questionable to out, leaving the Bulls light on options in the backcourt. Coby White is available and will play plenty, while Dalen Terry, Tre Jones and Jevon Carter will absorb the available minutes. Jones offers the highest ceiling of the three low-rostered Bulls guards.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (quad) and Lonzo Ball (wrist) are questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
Ayo Dosunmu has already been ruled out, and Kevin Huerter is questionable too, which means Chicago’s backcourt depth could be razor thin on Tuesday. Tre Jones and Dalen Terry could be in line for big minutes against the Cavs depending on who is ultimately sidelined.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey accounted for 18 points (5-of-15 FGs, 8-of-11 FTs), nine rebounds and seven assists in 34 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Pacers.
Giddey’s points, rebounds and assists were solid in Sunday’s loss to the Pacers. Unfortunately, he didn’t shoot the ball well and failed to record any defensive stats (steals or blocks) for the first time since January 25 against the 76ers. Since the All-Star break, Giddey has been a top-10 player in eight-cat formats. Provided he continues to play starters’ minutes and isn’t shut down, the Bulls guard will be a valuable asset to fantasy managers hoping to win their leagues.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) and Coby White (toe) are active for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Giddey and White are good to go and will form Chicago’s starting backcourt. The duo could have to do some heavy lifting with Lonzo Ball and Kevin Huerter out.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) and Coby White (toe) are probable for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Despite dealing with lower-body injuries, Giddey (left ankle sprain) and White (right first toe soreness) are on track to play against the Pacers on Sunday. If either cannot play, more minutes will be available to Tre Jones, potentially as a starter, since the Bulls will be without Ayo Dosunmu. However, given the “probable” tags for Giddey and White, there’s no need to add Jones.
