Joe Wieskamp played 29 minutes in Saturday’s 108-101 win over the Warriors, accounting for 27 points (8-of-11 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers.
Wieskamp saved the best for last with regard to his summer league experience, putting up a highly-efficient 27 points in the Raptors’ final game in Las Vegas. And the timing couldn’t be better, as the Raptors have until July 18 to decide whether or not to guarantee Wieskamp’s contract for the 2023-24 season. After playing in nine games with the Raptors last season, he’ll hope to get the opportunity to play more next season. Toronto has two open two-way slots, so it would not be surprising if Wieskamp were with the team in some capacity.
