  • MIN Small Forward #7
Joe Ingles has agreed to a one-year deal with Minnesota, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Ingles spent last season with Orlando, and now he’ll look to fill some of the bench minutes in Minnesota. Kyle Anderson left for Golden State, so Ingles may have a role immediately. However, he’s past his days of contributing in fantasy, though he may be worth streaming from time to time.
  • ORL Small Forward #7
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Magic are declining Joe Ingles’ $11 million team option for next season, making him an unrestricted free agent.
While Ingles will be an unrestricted free agent when free agency opens on Sunday evening, this does not mean his time in Orlando is over. According to Wojnarowski, the two sides will continue to have dialogue on a potential agreement. Ingles appeared in 68 games during his first season with the Magic, averaging 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 3-pointers in 17.2 minutes. Given the presence of Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, Ingles’ fantasy impact was muted last season.
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner (right ankle sprain) is available for Friday’s game against Philadelphia.
Wagner is back, returning after a two-game absence. Markelle Fultz started those two games and will return to the bench if Franz is not under significant restrictions. Also, Joe Ingles’ minutes likely decrease with Wagner in the rotation, but he wasn’t a great fantasy asset.
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the 76ers due to a right ankle sprain.
Wagner missed both games of Orlando’s Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back set, but he’s got a chance to suit up for the Magic’s penultimate game of the regular season. If Wagner is unavailable, more minutes should be available for Joe Ingles, Anthony Black and Gary Harris (available).
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner (right ankle sprain) will remain sidelined for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Wagner will miss a second straight game, with Markelle Fultz starting in his place during the last one. Fultz will play the second leg of their back-to-back, and he should remain in the starting unit. Jonathan Isaac and Joe Ingles will also see a few extra minutes off the bench.
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner (right ankle sprain) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
Wagner, who injured his ankle during Sunday’s win over the Bulls, was initially questionable to play on Tuesday. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Caleb Houstan and Joe Ingles being the two players to watch regarding how Orlando fills that void.
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner (right ankle sprain) has been upgraded from out to questionable ahead of the Magic’s game against the Rockets on Tuesday.
Wagner tweaked his ankle against the Bulls over the weekend and his status for Tuesday is up in the air. Joe Ingles (1% rostered in Yahoo leagues) will likely see a bump in production if the Magic’s starting small forward needs to rest against the Rockets.
  • ORL Point Guard #20
Markelle Fultz (left knee injury maintenance) has been downgraded to out for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Fultz has been downgraded after initially being listed as questionable. He played 16 minutes as a starter in their last game, but with Gary Harris back, Fultz would likely have returned to the bench. Joe Ingles and Anthony Black will fill out the perimeter bench minutes alongside Cole Anthony.
  • ORL Small Forward #2
Caleb Houstan (left ankle soreness) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Kings.
Houstan got the start in this game in place of Gary Harris, but he won’t return for the second half. Jonathan Isaac had a big first half with 17 points in eight minutes, and he should see some extra minutes after the break. Cole Anthony and Joe Ingles should also make up for Houstan’s absence.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #14
Gary Harris (right plantar fascia strain) will be questionable to play against the Kings on Saturday.
Harris exited early from Thursday’s game and now may remain on the sidelines this Saturday. Caleb Houstan started the second half in his place after not playing in the first half and knocked down a triple across 13 minutes. He has shown the ability to get hot from deep and could start if Harris remains out. However, he isn’t a player to consider streaming.
