Josh Giddey (arm) has been ruled out against the Wizards on Friday.
Coming off recording a triple-double against Miami on Wednesday, Giddey will miss Friday’s matchup with Washington. Patrick Williams, Talen Horton-Tucker and Jevon Carter are all candidates to replace him in the starting unit, depending on how big or small head coach Billy Donovan wants to go with his opening lineup.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (forearm) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Giddey has missed a game with his forearm injury recently but is fresh off a triple-double. Jevon Carter has a chance to return to relevance if Giddey is ruled out, as Chicago remains short on guards.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (forearm) and Kevin Huerter (neck) are questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Giddey and Huerter are hoping to make returns after sitting against the Cavaliers. Jevon Carter and Dalen Terry started in the backcourt against Cleveland, though they would only continue to start if Giddey and Huerter miss another game.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #5
Jevon Carter, Dalen Terry, Matas Buzelis, Patrick Williams and Jalen Smith will start against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Buzelis is the lone typical starter for Chicago in this game. They will be incredibly shorthanded against Cleveland, which makes the rotation difficult to predict. However, these five will surely play significant roles, with Zach Collins, Julian Phillips and Talen Horton-Tucker among the reserves that should play big minutes.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #5
Jevon Carter (shoulder) is available for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Carter is available after sitting out Tuesday’s game in Toronto. His return gives the Bulls another option on the perimeter, but he’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #5
Jevon Carter (shoulder) and Julian Phillips (quad) are questionable to play against the Trail Blazers on Friday.
Both players were sidelined against Toronto on Tuesday, and they may miss another game. Neither player has been able to impact fantasy basketball consistently, and there availability won’t have an impact on Chicago’s rotation.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #5
Jevon Carter (shoulder) and Julian Phillips (quad) are out for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.
Under normal circumstances, Carter and Phillips’ absences would not impact fantasy basketball. However, with the Bulls missing multiple perimeter players, the available options will likely log significant minutes on Tuesday. Talen Horton-Tucker and Patrick Williams should see their minutes increase due to the absences.
  • CHI Point Guard #2
Lonzo Ball (wrist) is doubtful for Tuesday’s matchup with Toronto, and Jevon Carter (shoulder) is questionable.
Nearly all of Chicago’s backcourt is banged up, out, or expected to sit out Tuesday. Coby White figures to see monster minutes and usage, while Talen Horton-Tucker could see a big spike in playing time depending on the absences.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hip) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Raptors.
Giddey played through the injury in Monday’s loss to the Thunder, but he could get a breather on the second leg of Chicago’s back-to-back set. If he’s sidelined, Dalen Terry, Talen Horton-Tucker and Jevon Carter could all be asked to take on expanded roles.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hip) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Giddey is dealing with a sore right hip, hence his inclusion on the injury report. If he’s unable to play, the Bulls will have to rely even more on Coby White, who has been an outstanding fantasy option since the All-Star break. Dalen Terry, Talen Horton-Tucker and even Jevon Carter could be asked to play additional minutes if Giddey sits.
