Stackhouse

Before Stotts resigned, he held the title of assistant coach in Milwaukee heading into last season. Before that, he was the head coach in Portland for nearly a decade. Stackhouse has been the coach at Vanderbilt for the last five seasons, though that was a disappointing tenure. He had more success as the head coach of Raptors 905, where he won a championship and was the D-League Coach of the Year in 2017. They’ll both bring plenty of experience to Steve Kerr’s staff as they look to reload around Stephen Curry.

Stackhouse also has a sore lower right leg. He’s day-to-day.

Also unlikely to play is Shawn Bradley, who hit his head on the court and sustained a mild concussion.

Stackhouse remains day-to-day.

Stackhouse declared practice a success but plans to have an MRI later this week. He said he won’t play until he knows the results of the exam.

Coach Don Nelson said he isn’t sure when Stackhouse would play again.

Stackhouse is listed as questionable with a sore right knee.

Either Stackhouse or Bobby Simmons will start at small forward tonight.

The hand swelled up again, and Stackhouse had a large callus on the palm of his hand Monday. He expects to play Wednesday.

Stackhouse is doubtful for tonight, but could be back Wednesday.
