Jeremy Evans finally played on his sprained ankle Wednesday and had five points, six rebounds, a steal and a block in 12 minutes.
That’s solid production in limited run, but unless he suddenly starts getting 25 minutes per game, he has no fantasy value.

Jeremy Evans (ankle) did not play on Friday against the Hornets.
Evans’ ankle still isn’t well enough for him to play. His playing time has been sporadic all season and is only averaging 6.5 minutes per game. This news shouldn’t impact your fantasy lineup.

Jeremy Evans (ankle) will be reevaluated before Friday’s game against the Hornets.
“It depends how it feels when I wake up,” Evans said. He’s dealing with swelling and pain, and both will have to subside substantially for him to have a chance to play on Friday. Consider him extremely questionable to face the Hornets.

Several internet reports indicate that Jeremy Evans will replace Iman Shumpert (knee) in this weekend’s dunk contest.
Shumpert’s knee will be re-evaluated after the break, so it sounds like Evans will get the nod for one of All-Star Weekend’s premier events.

Jeremy Evans won the 2012 Slam-Dunk competition with a rather underwhelming 29 percent of fans’ votes.
The contest was insipid and was dominated, as usual, by gimmicks -- a glow-in-the-dark dunk, a first-person camera angle dunk, a dunk over P. Diddy, and so forth. Sunday’s All-Star game will at least have more entertainment value and star power, after which we can return to covering meaningful games.

Jeremy Evans left Monday’s game due to an ankle injury and did not return.
Evans finished with two points, three rebounds, and three blocks in 18 minutes, and despite the intriguing block total there is nothing to see here, folks.

Jeremy Evans (ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Evans left Monday’s game with the injury and didn’t return, so this isn’t a huge surprise. It’s bad news for an injured Jazz team, but there is no fantasy value to be had here with Evans. Gordon Hayward, DeMarre Carroll and Alec Burks should all pick up some extra time in Evans’ absence.

Jeremy Evans reported improvement in his sprained right ankle.
Evans went through an extended warm-up session before Saturday’s game, but he was ruled out just before tipoff. Utah goes against Dallas on Monday, and barring a setback, Evans should be available for that one.

Updating an earlier item, Jeremy Evans will not play through his sprained ankle on Saturday.
He did everything he could to get back in action, but is still not ready to play. Paul Millsap, on the other hand, will play again despite his wrist injury.

Jeremy Evans scored a season-high 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting with a career-high 10 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks in 28 minutes.
Evans saw extra run with the starters getting rested and probably won’t be in the playoff rotation. Like rookie Alec Burks, he can fly, but he has a ways to go before he accumulates real fantasy value. Enes Kanter double-doubled with 12 points, 10 boards, a steal, and two blocks, and Jamaal Tinsley played 21 minutes on his way to four points, three boards, and seven assists.
