Jerami Grant played 36 minutes in Sunday’s 116-109 loss to Phoenix, scoring 17 points (6-of-16 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and four 3-pointers.
While Grant continues to provide minimal value as a rebounder, averaging 3.5 boards per game, Sunday’s effort was one of his best of the season. He grabbed six in Phoenix, two shy of his season-high and the first time Grant’s recorded that many boards in a game since November 20. While Grant is ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat formats, the production in categories outside of points and 3-pointers limits his fantasy ceiling. Portland plays twice during Week 8, beginning with Denver on Thursday.

Jerami Grant shot 12-of-19 from the field in Friday’s 118-116 loss to the Spurs, scoring 30 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and eight 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
After a five-point first half, Grant caught fire in the third quarter. Shooting 6-of-7 from three and 8-of-10 from the field overall, he scored 22 points on the frame, establishing career-highs for points and 3-pointers in a quarter. Grant may not provide consistent value in other essential categories in fantasy basketball, but he can put up points and 3-pointers. He’s ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat formats for the season. Portland finishes its week with a game in Phoenix on Sunday.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) will play against the Mavericks on Sunday and start alongside Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara and Deandre Ayton.
Grant will be back in the lineup following a two-game absence, which will send Deni Avdija back to the bench. Avdija should still be worth rostering even with Grant available and starting in this game. The rest of the starters will remain the same for this game.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) and Scoot Henderson (left quad contusion) are questionable for Sunday’s game against Dallas.
Grant has missed Portland’s last two games, and Henderson sat out Friday’s win over Sacramento. The absences have boosted the fantasy values of Deni Avdija (who’s already rostered in most standard leagues) and Dalano Banton. While Avdija will retain solid fantasy value with Grant in the lineup, Banton is a riskier option when Henderson is healthy enough to play.

Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) is out for Friday’s game against the Kings.
Grant is set to miss his second game in a row. Deni Avdija will likely replace him in the starting lineup again. Avdija should be rostered in most formats and is even on the streaming radar in shallow formats with Grant out.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Kings.
Grant did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Pacers and appears unlikely to play Friday night. Deni Avdija started in his place and should remain in that role until Grant is available. He should be rostered in all standard leagues, and some shallow-league managers may also consider streaming Avdija.

Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Injured during Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Grant will not play in Portland’s final game before Thanksgiving. Deni Avdija should move back into the starting lineup and needs to be rostered wherever he’s available.

Jerami Grant (left knee sprain) is doubtful to play against Indiana on Wednesday.
Grant exited early from their last game with this knee injury, and it should keep him sidelined for at least one more game. Deni Avdija should slide into the starting unit in his place after putting up a 17/8/6/1/1 line in 32 minutes on Monday.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant (left knee injury) finished Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies with 11 points (3-of-10 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 21 minutes.
Grant left Tuesday’s loss with just under ten minutes remaining in the third quarter and did not return. There should be more clarity regarding the severity of Grant’s injury on Tuesday. Deni Avdija could be back in the starting lineup after being replaced by Shaedon Sharpe if Grant misses time.

Jerami Grant (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Grant is officially available for Monday’s game and will take on his usual role within the starting lineup. Managers who have him rostered must ensure he isn’t sitting on the bench before lineups lock.
