  • DEN Center #30
Jay Huff (right knee inflammation) is available for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Huff isn’t in the rotation most nights, so his being cleared for Sunday’s game will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • DEN Center #30
Jay Huff (right rib fracture) is available for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Huff has been upgraded from questionable to available, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get in the game. His best shot at playing time will be if Monday’s game is a blowout.

Jay Huff (right rib fracture) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Huff, who’s on a two-way contract, isn’t in the Nuggets rotation when healthy. His availability will not impact fantasy basketball.

Daniel Gafford tallied 22 points (9-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot in 25 minutes in Friday’s 114-108 win over Miami.
Gafford made his first nine shot attempts of the night, finishing with his second 20-point game in as many outings. Having hit double figures in points in five of his last six appearances, DG has been a 6th-round player in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Jay Huff has been serving as Gafford’s backup, and he finished Friday’s win with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes. Gafford should be available for Sunday’s regular-season finale against New York, but it would be Huff’s turn should something change.

  • POR Small Forward #8
Deni Avdija (left elbow bursitis) has been ruled out for Friday’s matchup with the Heat.
Avdija will miss a third straight game, and it seems unlikely that he returns this season. Anthony Gill should start in his place once again, but Jay Huff has been a better fantasy option off the bench as of late.

Daniel Gafford posted a monster double-double on Wednesday with 25 points (8-for-10 FGs, 9-for-9 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in a 134-116 loss to Atlanta.
With the Wizards playing without the majority of their rotation, Gafford stepped up and set a new career-high for points. This was his 10th double-double of the season despite playing just 23 minutes. Gafford was one of seven Wizards to score in double figures, as Johnny Davis put up 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer. Davis is flashing his fantasy potential, but it will be difficult for him to carve out a role. Jay Huff, Quenton Jackson and Kendrick Nunn also scored in double figures off the bench for the second straight game and should be solid options for the rest of the season.

  • WAS Point Guard #12
Kendrick Nunn provided a boost off the bench on Tuesday with 24 points (9-for-17 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers in a 140-128 loss to the Bucks.
With Washington officially eliminated from the postseason, they were without six key rotation players on Tuesday. That allowed Nunn to have a big night off the bench, as he set new season-highs for points, rebounds and 3-pointers while tying his season-high for assists and steals. Nunn was joined by six other Wizards to score in double figures, including Jay Huff (17) and Quenton Jackson (10), who set career-highs. Johnny Davis also continued to shine with a 20/5/4/2/2 line and two 3-pointers. Jordan Goodwin got the start with Delon Wright out and put up a 14/4/9 line. Everyone played at least 20 minutes in this game, which is encouraging for streaming Wizards over their final three games.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Wizards are signing Jay Huff to a two-way contract.
The former Virginia standout has spent this season with the Lakers’ G League affiliate, averaging 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals, 3.2 blocks, and 0.9 3-pointers in just over 29 minutes per game. This move comes on the heels of the Wizards’ decision to waive Vernon Carey Jr., who failed to make an impression after being acquired from the Hornets last February.

  • NBA Power Forward #5
Moses Wright was effective yet again on Saturday, putting up 17 points (6-of-8 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in only 22 minutes as the Mavericks fell to the Lakers.
Wright went bonkers on Thursday and kept things going in his final Summer League game, and he’s showing why the team signing him to a two-way deal earlier this year looks like a smart move. Don’t expect his numbers in SL to translate to fantasy relevance, however, as Christian Wood and JaVale McGee were both acquired by Dallas earlier this summer and aren’t going to leave much room for Wright to operate. AJ Lawson looked nice with 19 points and some other goodies but did turn it over six times, while No. 37 overall pick Jaden Hardy coughed up the ball seven times to go with his 15 points. Jay Huff (13/2/4/1/3) was the best part of the Lakers’ side of the box score, but we aren’t too concerned with L.A.’s young guns given they don’t really have time to develop them with LeBron James entering his 20th season.

The Lakers are waiving Jay Huff, the team announced Wednesday.
Huff appeared in just four games for the Lakers this season and did not score a basket. Huff will now likely head to the Lakers G-League affiliate, unless another team claims him on waivers.
