  • NOP Shooting Guard #24
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Javonte Green is signing a one-year deal with New Orleans after logging nine games with the Chicago Bulls last season.
Green was productive in Chicago and averaged 12.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest. It’s unclear how the bouncy swingman will fit in alongside the likes of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and Trey Murphy, though.

Alex Caruso suffered a “significant” right foot sprain during Wednesday’s Play-In matchup with the Hawks, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Caruso briefly exited from Wednesday’s game before returning to play more. He ended up exiting early and only played 17 total minutes in the win. Wojnarowski also added that White’s status is “in doubt”, so if he can’t suit up against the Heat on Friday, Javonte Green will likely start in his place. He logged 22 minutes against Atlanta and finished with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
  • CHI Point Guard #12
Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) will play against the Hawks on Wednesday.
Dosunmu missed the regular season finale, but he will be available to play in their Play-In matchup with Atlanta. Javonte Green started in his place in their last game, so he will likely return to the bench for this one. Dosunmu may continue to be listed on the injury report, but he should be available to play as long as they’re still in the postseason.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic shot 12-of-19 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Sunday’s 120-119 overtime loss to the Knicks, amassing 29 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
Despite having nothing to play for, the Bulls played their usual rotation on Sunday, with all five starters playing at least 38 minutes. Vucevic logged 42 and finished with his second straight double-double. He’s scored at least 26 points in three straight games, building solid offensive momentum heading into Chicago’s Play-In tournament matchup with Atlanta. Javonte Green, who has filled in admirably for Ayo Dosunmu, contributed 11 points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.
  • CHI Point Guard #12
Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) will miss Sunday’s game against the Knicks, but Javonte Green (rest) is available.
Dosunmu and Green were questionable on the initial injury report, so the latter’s availability may have depended on the status of the former. Dosunmu will miss a fourth straight game, with Green again replacing him in the starting lineup. While the Bulls technically have nothing to play for, Javonte should come close to starters’ minutes.
  • CHI Point Guard #12
Ayo Dosunmu (right quad contusion) and Javonte Green (rest) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Dosunmu has missed Chicago’s last three games, and there may be a desire to get him some game time before the Bulls’ Play-In tournament matchup with the Hawks. As for Green, he has performed well in extended minutes. If available to play against the Knicks, he could be in for a significant workload, especially if the Bulls limit the minutes of their stars.

Javonte Green shot 10-of-15 from the field and 1-of-1 from the foul line in Friday’s 129-127 win over the Wizards, scoring 24 points with seven rebounds, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
Due to the Bulls being without Nikola Vucevic (rest) and Andre Drummond (ankle), Green served as the starting center on Friday. While holding his own as a defender, he shot 66.7% from the field and led the Bulls in scoring. Among the Bulls to help out on the glass was Torrey Craig, who grabbed 15 rebounds while also tallying 11 points, three assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes. How much value Green and Craig have for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Knicks depends on the availability of Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan. Chicago being locked into the 9-seed could prompt Billy Donovan to keep his starters on the bench.

Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) is listed as probable for Thursday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Caruso returned from a one-game absence on Tuesday, and he is expected to be available once again on Thursday. Javonte Green started in his place on Sunday and remained in the starting lineup with Ayo Dosunmu out on Tuesday. If Dosunmu returns, Green will be pushed back to the bench.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #24
Javonte Green played 22 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Magic, recording a line of 15 points (6-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks, and two 3-pointers.
After his excellent performance in Friday’s win over the Knicks, Green started for the injured Alex Caruso (ankle) on Sunday. He had a productive night in Orlando but only played 22 minutes after logging 33 two nights prior. Green’s value in leagues that run through Week 24 will depend on Caruso’s availability for a four-game week that begins with the Knicks on Tuesday. Andre Drummond played 25 minutes off the bench, recording 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.

Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Caruso has been ruled out after injuring his ankle during the fourth quarter of Friday’s win over the Knicks. Javonte Green is Caruso’s replacement in the starting lineup and is worthy of deep-league streaming consideration. This moves DeMar DeRozan back to the small forward position rather than serving as a small-ball four.
