Jarrett Allen had 24 points (11-of-15 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks against the Bulls on Friday.
Allen seems to be feeling better after being listed as questionable with a leg injury Friday. He dropped 24 points on just 15 shots and had his ninth double-double of the season. Allen is a crucial part of the Cavaliers’ undefeated start to the season and stepped up with a big game on a night when the Cavs were without Evan Mobley. Cleveland takes on the Hornets on Sunday.
  • CLE Center #31
Cavaliers will start Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Isaac Okoro, Georges Niang and Jarrett Allen against the Bulls on Friday.
Evan Mobley is out with an illness while Jarrett Allen, who’s been dealing with a leg injury, will start again. The Cavaliers remain undefeated, but Mobley being out is a key loss. Allen, on the other hand, saw his minutes tick back up in his last game and might be close to being over his leg injury. At the very least, he was feeling better as he posted his eighth double-double of the year.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley (illness) has been downgraded to questionable for Friday’s matchup with Chicago.
Mobley and Jarrett Allen were both given probable tags on Thursday, so Mobley’s downgraded status on Friday suggests he’s trending in the wrong direction. Allen is still listed as probable, which means he should be expected to play and handle a sizeable workload. Georges Niang and Dean Wade should see more playing time if Mobley sits.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen (left lower leg strain) and Evan Mobley (illness) are probable for Friday’s game against the Bulls.
Allen has been dealing with his injury for a few games but has not missed any time. The probable tag suggests Cleveland’s frontcourt tag team will be available for the Cavaliers’ Emirates NBA Cup group stage opener. If they cannot play, Georges Niang and Dean Wade are two players whose fantasy values would increase.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen had 11 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Allen was questionable with a leg injury, but managed to play 32 minutes in this one. He was a factor on both ends as he recorded his eighth double-double of the season. Allen is key to the Cavaliers success as they remain undefeated. Cleveland takes the court again on Friday against the Bulls before a Sunday matchup with the Hornets.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen (left lower leg strain) plans to play Wednesday against the 76ers.
Allen suiting up Wednesday is good news for the Cavaliers as well as fantasy managers. Evan Mobley (illness) remains a game-time decision. If Allen was out, Mobley is really the only backup plan the Cavaliers have. Now they don’t have to worry so much since Allen is available, though he’s had his minutes scaled back recently as he’s clearly playing below 100%.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen (left lower leg strain) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia.
In recent games, Allen hasn’t looked like himself, and the leg injury may have something to do with it. In Cleveland’s last two games, he’s played 47 minutes but did not deal with foul trouble. If Allen cannot play, Evan Mobley will shift to the five, with Dean Wade and Georges Niang in line for additional minutes.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley shot 10-of-11 from the field and 2-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over the Nets, scoring 23 points with 16 rebounds, one assist, four steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
On a night when frontcourt sidekick Jarrett Allen struggled, Mobley was dominant as Cleveland rallied to push its record to 11-0. While the foul shooting left something to be desired, that’s the only issue fantasy managers will have with the 23-year-old’s stat line. Mobley is providing top-25 per-game value for the season, exceeding his Yahoo ADP (38) by a comfortable margin. As for Allen, he finished Saturday’s victory with four points, three rebounds, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen had 16 points (7-of-10 FGs), 14 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two blocks against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Allen had his third double-double in a row and fifth in his last six games. He was a team-high +24 in 35 minutes in the nine-point victory. Allen is a beast on the boards and a key to the Cavaliers’ success. The Cavaliers have two more games this week with matchups against the Warriors on Friday and Nets on Saturday.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen recorded a double-double on Monday with 14 points (7-of-14 FGs), 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block against the Bucks.
Allen has started off the year well once again and has been a huge factor in the team’s early success. He’s been putting up exactly the numbers that managers were expecting from him entering this season, which has allowed him to rank in the top-25 early on. He did a little more playmaking in this game and recorded a season-high for assists, though that isn’t something that managers should get accustomed to. Cleveland has three more games this week, which features a quick road trip to New Orleans on Wednesday before they host the Warriors on Nets on Friday and Saturday. We’ll see how long they can stay undefeated.
