Klay Thompson made 6-of-13 shots to score 17 during Game 2, hitting four 3-pointers with two boards, five assists and two steals in 31 minutes of action.
Thompson and Steph Curry combined for a mere 20 points on 29.6 percent shooting in Game 1, but tonight they had 35 points with 54.2 percent accuracy. Thompson got loose for a handful of wide open 3-pointers during Game 2, and he’s adept at exploiting mismatches on smaller guards, presenting one of many matchup problems for the Cavs.
  • FA Shooting Guard #19
Rodney McGruder (ankle) will start on Tuesday vs. OKC.
Goran Dragic (back) and Josh McRoberts (foot) are out, so Miami will roll out their 11th different starting lineup of the season with Josh Richardson, McGruder, Justise Winslow, Derrick Williams and Hassan Whiteside. Even as a starter, McGruder can’t be considered a viable target in most settings.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
The Bulls selected Oklahoma St. shooting guard JamesOn Curry with the 51st pick in the draft.
He’s a younger version of Ben Gordon, but likely not as talented. And if he ends up being a player for the Bulls, that capital O in the middle of his name is going to be a pain to type every time the Bulls play.
  • NBA Center #55
John Paxson said he’s optimistic Joakim Noah could get clearance from a team physician next week to begin on-court activity.
He’s recovering from a small rotator cuff tear in his right shoulder, but should be ready for the start of the season. Paxson also said that second-round picks JamesOn Curry and Aaron Gray would spend time in the D-League this year, meaning they’ll have no fantasy value.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
The Chicago Bulls signed second-round draft choice JamesOn Curry on Thursday.
Curry was taken with the 51st pick in June’s draft and averaged 13.5 points and 2.9 rebounds at Oklahoma State. He shouldn’t have fantasy value this season.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
Bulls rookie JamesOn Curry was arrested for public urination and resisting arrest in Boise, Idaho. He is currently playing for the Bulls’ D-League affiliate, the Iowa Energy.
Curry probably wasn’t going to make the leap to the NBA this year, and at this rate he might not make it next year, either.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
On Thursday, the Bulls assigned rookie JamesOn Curry to the Iowa Energy, an NBA Developmental League team.
The move will give Curry more minutes and more chances to grow as a player, so hopefully we’ll see him back in the big show some time soon.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
The Bulls assigned rookie guard JamesOn Curry to Iowa of the D League for the second time this season.
In nine games with Iowa, he averaged 21.9 points, 5.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds. He’s yet to play in any games for the Bulls this season.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
The Bulls recalled JamesOn Curry from the D-League on Thursday, amid a string of injuries which have thinned their lineup.
Curry isn’t going to have any fantasy value, and it’s even being reported that although he has been recalled, Curry is scheduled to undergo left thumb surgery.
  • BKN Shooting Guard
JamesOn Curry, who turns 22 Monday, is expected to return to the Iowa Energy of the Development League that day.
The rookie has yet to play a minute for the Bulls this season. He’s a real long shot to have any value on the Bulls veteran roster.
