Ziaire Williams (knee) and Reece Beekman (calf) have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Jalen Wilson will likely notch another start with Williams out of commission. Tyson Etienne is the prime candidate to fill in as the Nets’ starting point guard.

Ziaire Williams (knee) and Reece Beekman (calf) are questionable to play against the Knicks on Sunday.
Williams missed Friday’s game against Minnesota, which allowed Jalen Wilson to start. He should remain in that role if Williams remains out. Beekman has been starting at point guard and should continue to do so if he plays. If he’s unavailable, Tyson Etienne is a candidate to move into the starting unit.
  • BKN Small Forward #22
Jalen Wilson amassed 14 points (5-of-12 FGs), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and four three-pointers in 35 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves.
After dropping 20 points in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks, Wilson cooled off a bit on Friday. However, he still offered value in the rebound and three-point categories, and the second-year forward has reached double figures in four of his last five appearances. Starter Cameron Johnson has not appeared in a game since March 29. While he hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Knicks yet, it’s challenging to envision Cam playing. Wilson’s chances of starting the regular-season finale are pretty high, and he would be worth rostering in active leagues.

Jalen Wilson tallied 20 points (6-of-10 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and six three-pointers in 24 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks.
While the Nets were blown out on Thursday, the bench kept things somewhat respectable. Wilson led four reserves in double figures with 20 points, the second time he’s hit that number in his last four appearances. With Brooklyn ruling Cameron Johnson out for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves, Wilson will have every opportunity to duplicate Thursday’s performance, even if he comes off the bench.
  • BKN Small Forward #22
Reece Beekman, Trendon Watford, Jalen Wilson, Ziaire Williams and Nic Claxton will start against the Pelicans on Tuesday.
Wilson will replace Keon Johnson in the starting lineup, with Johnson getting a rest night. Claxton is back and will immediately return to his typical spot in the starting lineup, which will push Drew Timme to a reserve role.
  • BKN Small Forward #8
Ziaire Williams (rest) and Jalen Wilson (ankle) are available for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Williams and Wilson are back, with the former likely returning to the starting lineup. If so, Maxwell Lewis is most likely headed to the bench. Williams is worth rostering in deep leagues, especially with Cameron Johnson unavailable. As for Wilson, there may be too many players in the mix for rotation minutes for him to be impactful in fantasy leagues.

Jalen Wilson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Timberwolves on Thursday.
Brooklyn will be incredibly shorthanded on the wing with Wilson joining Cameron Johnson and Ziaire Williams on the sidelines for Thursday’s game. Maxwell Lewis and Trendon Watford should be in line to take on significant roles and potentially move into the starting unit. They’re worth considering as streaming options based on the opportunity to play big minutes on a day with only six games.
  • BKN Small Forward #22
Jalen Wilson (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Wilson started Monday’s win over the Mavericks, filling in for the injured Cameron Johnson and logging 29 minutes. With Johnson already out for Thursday’s game, the Nets could be without two rotation forwards. Maxwell Lewis and Trendon Watford are two players whose minutes would increase if Wilson does not play. Watford offers a slightly higher fantasy ceiling, but both players would be worth streaming in deep leagues.

Ziaire Williams (rest) is out for Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Williams has dealt with a hamstring injury and an illness lately. Now the Nets are giving him Thursday off for rest. With Cameron Johnson (back) also ruled out, Jalen Wilson (ankle) should have an increased role if he’s available.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (back) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Johnson sat against the Mavericks with a hip injury and will now miss a second-straight contest with a different ailment. Jalen Wilson will likely continue starting in his place against Minnesota.
