Crutcher

Crutcher, who was in training camp with the Hornets before being waived in October, has played well for the Pelicans’ G League affiliate this season. In Birmingham, he averaged 17.7 points and 5.6 assists per game. While the callup is an opportunity for the former Dayton standout to prove himself, Crutcher’s signing will not impact fantasy basketball.

Crutcher was never likely to make the final roster, but they wanted to be sure to keep him around with the Greensboro Swarm.

Both Crutcher and McGriff faced long odds to make the Hornets’ opening night roster, so these transactions aren’t a surprise. It’s likely that both will be on the roster of the Hornets’ G League affiliate in Greensboro.
