  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia amassed 32 points (11-of-21 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes in Monday’s 120-118 overtime loss to the Heat.
LaRavia produced one of the best individual performances of the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Monday’s title game, but it wasn’t enough to get Memphis the victory. Overall, he had a good summer, putting up quality numbers as one of the summer Grizzlies’ primary scoring options. The biggest issue for LaRavia in his first two seasons has been availability, as he’s played 70 NBA games. If the 2022 first-round pick can remain healthy, he can be a solid contributor off the bench.
  • MEM Center
Zach Edey and Jake LaRavia will sit out against the Thunder on Wednesday as they deal with ankle soreness.
Both players are sitting out with minor injuries, and the Grizzlies are just being cautious with them. This is the team’s third straight day with a game, and there is no reason for push them to play in Summer League. Jaylen Wells and Cam Spencer stepped up on Tuesday night and should play extended minutes once again.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia posted a line of 18 points (5-of-14 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Monday’s 97-95 loss to Utah.
Injuries have been an issue for LaRavia, who has played 70 games in two seasons with the Grizzlies. With the 2024-25 season being the last guaranteed year on his current deal, this is a big summer for the 2022 first-round pick. LaRavia was solid in his summer league opener on Monday, with only Scotty Pippen Jr. (21 points) putting up more points among the Grizzlies who saw action. When healthy, the Grizzlies are a deep team on the wings, which limits LaRavia’s fantasy ceiling. But he is worth tracking in dynasty leagues.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia put up a solid line on Sunday with 29 points (11-of-20 FGs), five rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers against the Nuggets.
LaRavia closed the season out with an incredible three-game stretch. He averaged 29.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steal and 5.0 triples in 41 minutes per game while shooting 54.9% from the field. He has seen extended minutes to close out the season, which has allowed him to prove that he deserves to be a rotation piece next season. However, when the team is fully healthy, it is unlikely that LaRavia plays enough to impact fantasy basketball. He should be a valuable piece in dynasty leagues, but he won’t produce to this level next season.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia played 43 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Lakers, recording a line of 28 points (7-of-13 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers.
Two nights after scoring a career-high 32 points, LaRavia scored 28 more on Friday. He was efficient, shooting over 50% from the field, and his six assists were countered by just one turnover. LaRavia has played 34 minutes or more in three straight games, and that streak should reach four when the Grizzlies host the Nuggets on Sunday.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia shot 10-of-18 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 110-98 loss to the Cavaliers, tallying 32 points, seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block, and eight 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
The Grizzlies only had eight players available for Wednesday’s game, giving players like LaRavia free rein within the offense. The second-year forward made the most of his opportunity, establishing career-highs in points and 3-pointers. LaRavia was especially hot during the first half, scoring 21 points and shooting 6-of-6 from beyond the arc. Fantasy managers in active leagues need to ensure LaRavia isn’t sitting on the waiver wire for Memphis’ final two games of the season.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #24
The Grizzlies will start Scotty Pippen Jr., Jake LaRavia, GG Jackson, Lamar Stevens and Trey Jemison against Cleveland on Wednesday.
Brandon Clarke and Jordan Goodwin started in their last game, but they won’t suit up for this one. Jake LaRavia and Lamar Stevens will both move right into the starting unit after missing the team’s last two games.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia (left ankle soreness) and Lamar Stevens (left groin soreness) have been cleared to play against Cleveland on Wednesday.
Both forwards will be back after missing the team’s last two games. Brandon Clarke has been ruled out, so both LaRavia and Stevens will take on large roles. Memphis has so many players sidelined, which will allow both players to provide strong value in their return.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia (left ankle soreness) and Lamar Stevens (left groin soreness) have been downgraded to out for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Both players were initially listed as doubtful, and now they have officially been ruled out. GG Jackson and Brandon Clarke will continue to be the reliable forward options in Memphis, though guys like Timmy Allen and Jack White, who they signed to a 10-day deal on Tuesday, will also fill large roles.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia (left ankle soreness) is doubtful for the Grizzlies Tuesday game against the Spurs.
It appears like LaRavia could miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday after scoring at least 10 points in four of his previous five contests. GG Jackson (46% rostered in Yahoo leagues) could be in for a big night for the shorthanded Grizzlies.
