Jae Crowder (lower back soreness) is available for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia.
Crowder is available, but this does not guarantee he’ll play in the game. He’s appeared in one game since early December, falling out of the rotation after DeMar DeRozan returned from an injury. There’s no need to roster Crowder in fantasy leagues.

Jae Crowder (lower back soreness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Crowder’s availability does not impact fantasy basketball when everyone is healthy. However, with Keegan Murray (ankle) doubtful for Wednesday’s game, there may be rotation minutes available to Crowder if he can play. However, there’s no need to stream him, as the veteran forward has appeared in one game since early December.

Jae Crowder (lower back soreness) is out for Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
While he did start his two appearances for the Kings, Crowder has been out of the rotation since early December. His absence will not impact fantasy basketball.

Jae Crowder (lower back soreness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
Crowder has only appeared in one game since December 5, playing six minutes in a December 16 loss to the Nuggets. He’ll only have a shot at rotation minutes on nights when the Kings are without DeMar DeRozan.

DeMar DeRozan (lower back muscle inflammation) will play against San Antonio on Sunday.
DeRozan will be back in the mix after missing the team’s last two games with this back issue. Jae Crowder started in his place shortly after being signed by the team in their last game, but he’ll likely be pushed to the bench with DeMar available.

DeMar DeRozan (lower back muscle inflammation) is questionable for Sunday’s game against San Antonio.
DeRozan has missed Sacramento’s last two games, with Jae Crowder replacing him in the starting lineup. Crowder hasn’t been worth the streaming risk in most leagues, so DeRozan’s return would not impact his fantasy value.

DeMar DeRozan (lower back muscle inflammation) is out for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
DeRozan will miss a second consecutive game and has no concrete return timeline. Jae Crowder filled the void in the starting lineup in his Kings debut on Wednesday and should remain in that role. The veteran forward is a deep-league streaming option at best.

Jae Crowder tallied eight points (3-of-5 FGs), four rebounds, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Wednesday’s win over Minnesota.
Not only did Crowder play one day after signing his contract with the Kings, but he was DeMar DeRozan’s replacement in the starting lineup. While fantasy managers should first look for Malik Monk on their waiver wires, Crowder playing 27 minutes bodes well for his opportunities while DeRozan sits. He isn’t a must-add right now, but deep-league managers should have the veteran forward on their watch lists.

De’Aaron Fox, Keon Ellis, Jae Crowder, Keegan Murray, and Domantas Sabonis will start Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
The Kings are without DeMar DeRozan (back), and Crowder will fill his spot in the lineup. Wednesday’s game will be Crowder’s first since signing with the Kings on Tuesday. Ellis remains in the starting lineup, and Kevin Huerter is coming off the bench. It may be time for those with Red Velvet rostered to move on.

The Kings announced Tuesday that Trey Lyles (right calf strain) will be reevaluated in 3 to 4 weeks.
Lyles injured his calf during the first half of Monday’s loss to the Thunder, exiting after playing six minutes off the bench. His injury robs Sacramento of one of its more dependable bench options, even if this will not significantly impact fantasy basketball. The Kings signed Jae Crowder to a deal on Tuesday to address the recent spate of injuries. Also, Doug McDermott may pick up a few more minutes, but he is not worth streaming.
