Isaiah Wong (foot) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
After sitting out Monday’s loss to the Nets with a foot injury, Wong is available for Wednesday’s game. Due to Charlotte’s lengthy injury report, with LaMelo Ball among the absentees, Wong will play rotation minutes off the bench.
  • CHA Point Guard #21
Isaiah Wong (foot) has been ruled out against the Nets on Monday.
Wong saw an increased workload in Sunday’s loss due to the amount of injuries that Charlotte faced in the backcourt. Wong played 24 minutes in that game, but with LaMelo Ball, Nick Smith Jr. and Josh Green all back in the lineup, Wong’s minutes will go them.
  • CHA Power Forward #14
Moussa Diabate (eye) and Isaiah Wong (foot) are questionable for Monday’s game against the Nets.
Diabate has a chance to return after suffering an eye injury his last time out. Wong’s status is up in the air after a career night off the bench. Jusuf Nurkic has a chance to start in his Hornets debut while Wong’s role is unclear.
  • CHA Point Guard #21
Isaiah Wong logged 24 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons, amassing 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers.
Wong gave the Hornets solid contributions off the bench on Sunday, finishing with a career-high 17 points. He didn’t provide much value outside of points, 3-pointers, and percentages, but beggars can’t be choosers on a day when there were only three games on the schedule. Wong will have opportunities to contribute moving forward, but Charlotte’s lengthy injury report led to him playing more than usual.
  • CHA Point Guard #25
KJ Simpson, Nick Smith Jr., Josh Green, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams will start Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee.
Charlotte is without its top two point guards, as LaMelo Ball and Vasilije Micic have been sidelined by sprained ankles. Simpson will make his first career start, and the Hornets’ lack of available guards makes him a player worth streaming in deep leagues. Isaiah Wong may also see more minutes against the Bucks.
  • CHA Point Guard #22
Vasilije Micic (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee.
While Micic was able to play 29 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Wizards despite spraining his left ankle in the game prior, he’s unable to play on Wednesday. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) also out, the Hornets have few options to assume the point guard duties. Isaiah Wong and KJ Simpson should play more, but neither is a must-stream player.
  • CHA Point Guard #22
Vasilije Micic (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee.
Micic injured his left ankle during Saturday’s loss to Denver but started and played 29 minutes in Monday’s loss to Washington. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) out, the Hornets may be forced to turn to Isaiah Wong and rookie KJ Simpson if Micic sits. Simpson, a second-round pick out of Colorado, may have deep-league value during the “silly season”, especially if Charlotte shuts down Ball.
  • CHA Point Guard #30
Seth Curry (ankle) is now questionable for Friday’s game against Portland.
Initially probable for Friday’s game, Curry has been downgraded to questionable. The Hornets may be down two rotation guards, with starter Brandon Miller (wrist) ruled out for the remainder of the season. DaQuan Jeffries and Isaiah Wong may pick up additional minutes off the bench, but neither is a must-stream if Curry doesn’t play.
  • CHA Small Forward #24
Brandon Miller (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Thursday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Miller left Monday’s matchup with the 76ers after sustaining the injury, and his status at Washington is up in the air. Isaiah Wong and Tidjane Salaun could see an uptick in playing time if Miller is sidelined.
  • CHA Small Forward #24
Brandon Miller (left ankle sprain) will not return to Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Miller injured his ankle early in the fourth quarter while attempting a layup as he stepped on the foot of 76ers forward Guerschon Yabusele. His absence means more playing time for Isaiah Wong and Tidjane Salaun, neither of whom should be streamed in this spot. Miller played 31 minutes before the injury, finishing with 12 points (4-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one block, and two 3-pointers.
