Isaiah Mobley finished Monday’s 99-78 win over Houston with 28 points (12-of-20 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes.
Mobley may not have been named the MVP of the NBA2K Summer League, but he was unquestionably one of the top performers in Las Vegas and was named MVP of the title game. He was both dominant and efficient in Monday’s title game, shooting 60% from the field and recording a full line with just one turnover. Mobley has a two-way contract for next season locked up, but he looked like a player deserving of a standard deal during his time in Las Vegas. Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen being the starters at the four and five make it difficult to expect much from Isaiah from a fantasy standpoint, but there’s a lot for Cavaliers decision-makers to like about his skill set.
  • CLE Power Forward #15
Isaiah Mobley shot 8-of-14 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line in Sunday’s 102-99 win over the Nets, finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.
Mobley has been one of the best performers in Las Vegas, and his jump hook propelled the Cavaliers into Monday’s championship game. The older brother of Cavaliers star Evan Mobley, Isaiah is in a difficult spot as far as fantasy value is concerned. Between Evan and Jarrett Allen, a lot of the minutes at the power forward and center positions are essentially spoken for. The elder Mobley is signed to a two-way contract for next season, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere for deep-league value. That said, Isaiah has played well enough to deserve a longer look with the “big club” than what he received as a rookie.

Isaiah Mobley recorded a double-double on Thursday with 18 points (5-for-15 FGs), 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer against the Bulls.
Mobley has had a solid summer so far, which is good to see for a player on a two-way contract. He spent last season in the G-League, which will likely continue next season, but seeing him play well is encouraging.
  • CLE Power Forward #15
Isaiah Mobley led the Cavs with 15 points (3-for-7 FGs, 9-for-14 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in a 99-76 win over the Raptors.
He’s not ever going to be as productive as his brother, but Mobley has been really good in Summer League. He led a balanced effort to help Cleveland get another win on Sunday. Still, even with games like this, he’ll likely spend more time in a Charge uniform than in a Cavaliers one next season. He played well on Sunday, but he won’t be impacting fantasy basketball.
  • FA Small Forward #14
Danny Green shot 8-of-14 from the field in Thursday’s 118-94 win over Orlando, accumulating 21 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block, and five 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
Seeing action for the first time since March 17, Green made the most of his opportunity to log rotation minutes. The 21 points and five 3-pointers represent season-highs for the veteran wing, who did not make his season debut (with the Grizzlies) until February 1 due to his recovery from a torn ACL suffered during last season’s playoffs. Expecting Green to vault into the postseason rotation on the strength of one performance may be a bit much, but he certainly showed what he can provide on both ends of the floor if his name is called. Fellow reserves Isaiah Mobley (18/4/1/3/2 with two 3-pointers) and Mamadi Diakite (13/8/1/1/1 with one 3-pointer) also played well in Orlando, but their chances of cracking the postseason rotation are far slimmer than Green’s. At a minimum, Mobley and Diakite should play plenty in Sunday’s game against Charlotte.

  • Power Forward #35
Isaiah Mobley and Luke Travers, the 49th and 56th picks in the draft, both played well for the Cavs in their Summer League finale, a loss to the Hawks.
Mobley, who is Evan’s older brother, had 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a 3-pointer. Six of his boards were offensive and he’ll be playing on a two-way contract for the Cavs this season. Travers had 14 points, five boards and a couple threes but will be playing overseas this season. R.J. Nembhard wrapped up a strong summer with 16 points, six assists and five boards, and Cam Young added 15 points, scoring in double figures in all five SL games.

  • TOR Small Forward #30
Ochai Agbaji was the lone bright spot in Cleveland’s loss to the Hornets on Wednesday, scoring 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) to go with three rebounds, one assist, three steals, four 3-pointers and no turnovers in 29 minutes.
The lottery pick struggled on Sunday but looked worlds better this evening, putting together his best Summer League performance by a hefty margin. Besides the swipes and treys, Agbaji didn’t add a ton else to his stat line in Wednesday’s loss, but that was more or less the story for him with his only notable stats from his final year at Kansas being his rebounds (5.1 per game) and made triples (2.6 per game). So far, it doesn’t look like his game is all too fantasy-friendly, but things can change in no time if he earns the trust of head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and gets playing time in his rookie season, but he’s no more than a watch-list guy when fantasy drafts roll around. The only other players on Cleveland’s side to reach double digits in the scoring column were Cameron Young (11 points) and Amauri Hardy (10 points), which wouldn’t have happened without garbage time, while Isaiah Mobley grabbed 11 rebounds and swatted two shots in a start but shot just 3-of-11 from the floor.

Isaiah Mobley was selected No. 49 by the Cavaliers in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Mobley Brothers unite! The older brother of ROY contender Evan Mobley, Isaiah averaged 14.2 points, 8.3 boards, 3.3 dimes and 1.3 triples for the Trojans while shooting better than 35% from beyond the arc for the second consecutive season. He’s not likely to have the same impact as his little bro, but the elder Mobley can still make an impact when given minutes. Don’t expect too many of those in Year 1, however.
