Aaron Nesmith (sprained left ankle) will remain sidelined for Tuesday’s matchup with Cleveland.
Bennedict Mathurin will continue to start for Indiana, and they still haven’t given a concrete timeline for Nesmith’s return. He hasn’t played since November, and he may be out for a while longer.
  • IND Point Guard #0
Tyrese Haliburton (left hamstring tightness) is doubtful to play against Cleveland on Tuesday.
Haliburton exited early from their matchup with the Cavs on Sunday, and now he is expected to remain sidelined for their rematch on Tuesday. Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell should both be considered excellent streaming options, especially if Haliburton remains sidelined past this game. Luckily, this isn’t the same hamstring that Haliburton was managing late last season.
  • IND Power Forward #5
Jarace Walker amassed eight points (3-of-5 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one blocked shot, and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes in Sunday’s win over Cleveland.
On most nights, coming off the bench puts Walker in a position where he struggles to offer tangible fantasy value. That wasn’t the case on Sunday, as the second-year forward grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds and recorded two steals and one blocked shot. Concerning the rebounds, this was Walker’s first game hitting double figures in that category. He still isn’t at the point where fantasy managers should rush to roster him, but Walker is worth watching with his long-term future in mind.
  • IND Center #33
Myles Turner accumulated 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, and two 3-pointers in Sunday’s win over Cleveland, playing 29 minutes.
On Sunday, Turner recorded his seventh double-double of the season, helping lead Indiana past the team that boasted the NBA’s best record. The Pacers’ center has provided 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, two rounds higher than his season-long production. Turner and the Pacers play three games during Week 12, beginning with a rematch with the Cavaliers on Tuesday in Indianapolis.
  • IND Power Forward #43
Pascal Siakam accounted for 18 points (8-of-21 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two blocked shots in 31 minutes in Sunday’s win over Cleveland.
Sunday’s game was a tale of two halves for Siakam, who finished with a complete stat line. After shooting 2-of-10 from the field in the first half, Spicy P picked things up in the second, as the Pacers cleaned things up despite not having Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring). Over the past two weeks, Siakam has been a 10th-round player in 9-cat formats, with minimal defensive production being the issue. The three defensive contributions he recorded on Sunday are a step in the right direction.
  • IND Point Guard #2
Andrew Nembhard finished Sunday’s 108-93 win over Cleveland with 19 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.
Despite learning at halftime that Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) would not return to Sunday’s game, the Pacers turned things around and handed Cleveland its fifth defeat. Nembhard had much to do with that, leading the way with 19 points. At best, he has been a deep-league option for most of this season. However, if Haliburton misses time, Nembhard will have added value, as will T.J. McConnell (six points, four rebounds, and eight assists in 17 minutes).
  • IND Point Guard #0
Tyrese Haliburton (left hamstring tightness) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Haliburton played 19 minutes during the first half, but his effectiveness was limited in Cleveland. The Pacers point guard finished with two points (1-of-5 FGs), one rebound, five assists, one steal, and one blocked shot. Haliburton’s early exit means more playing time for T.J. McConnell, and Andrew Nembhard will also take on more responsibilities.
  • IND Small Forward #23
Aaron Nesmith (sprained left ankle) will remain out for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Nesmith has not appeared in a game in over two months, and it’s unknown when he’ll be healthy enough to play. Bennedict Mathurin will continue to start for the Pacers.
  • IND Power Forward #43
Pascal Siakam amassed 25 points (12-of-16 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes in Friday’s win over Golden State.
Siakam was one of three Pacers to record a double-double on Friday, with Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin being the others. Spicy P has only been an 8th-round player over the past two weeks, but he’s closing in on top-50 value for the season. He’ll look to finish Week 11 on a high note when the Pacers visit Cleveland on Sunday.
  • IND Small Forward #00
Bennedict Mathurin accumulated 21 points (9-of-18 FGs), 10 rebounds, two assists, and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Friday’s win over Golden State.
Mathurin, a 20-point scorer in three of his last six games, recorded his seventh double-double on Friday. Unfortunately, his fantasy value has decreased recently, and the lack of production outside of points, rebounds, and 3-pointers has been a factor. Over the past two weeks, Mathurin has averaged 1.9 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game. While he can still be a factor in points leagues, Mathurin isn’t as valuable in category leagues.
