Ben Sheppard (left oblique strain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Sheppard will miss a third straight game, which means Quenton Jackson should remain in the starting lineup. Jackson has been an 11th-round player over the last week, and T.J. McConnell is a better streaming option than him despite coming off the bench.
  • IND Center #33
Myles Turner played 33 minutes in Friday’s loss to Milwaukee, tallying 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks, and three 3-pointers.
Turner has been a top-40 player over the last two weeks in 9-cat formats. The lone concern may be the calf soreness that sidelined him for Monday’s loss to the Heat. Turner has played in Indiana’s two games since, logging 29 and 33 minutes without flare-ups. Sunday’s game against Washington is the first of a back-to-back for Indiana, so Turner’s status is something to watch.
  • IND Point Guard #0
Tyrese Haliburton finished Friday’s loss to Milwaukee with 18 points (6-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one rebound, nine assists, and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
Haliburton’s home/road splits have told the story of his 2024-25 season. Even with Friday’s 6-of-14 effort, he’s shooting 28.3% from the field in road games. By comparison, Haliburton makes nearly 49% of his shots at home. That’s one reason the disparity in fantasy value (top 15 at home, top 100 on the road) is so great. Haliburton will need to clean things up on the road if he’s to be the 1st-round player so many fantasy managers expected him to be.
  • IND Small Forward #00
Bennedict Mathurin amassed 20 points (6-of-18 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Bucks.
A top-100 player for the season, Mathurin has provided top-60 value over the last two weeks. While Aaron Nesmith’s ankle injury cleared the way for the Pacers wing to move into the starting lineup, he’s been far more versatile than in either of his first two seasons. As a result, Mathurin’s fantasy value has risen significantly.
  • IND Power Forward #43
Pascal Siakam logged 34 minutes in Friday’s loss to Milwaukee, scoring 25 points (9-of-16 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs) with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
Siakam has scored 21 points or more in four straight and five of his last six games, with the exception of a November 15 loss to the Heat. He’s providing top-50 per-game value for the season, which aligns with his Yahoo ADP (48), and fantasy managers should expect more of the same moving forward. The Pacers host Washington in their final game of Week 5.
  • IND Power Forward #5
Jarace Walker (illness) will be available for Friday’s game against Milwaukee.
Walker has played a larger role off the bench recently, which is what he should see once again in this game. His availability means that Obi Toppin won’t play a larger role, but Walker isn’t a player worth rostering in standard leagues at this point.
  • IND Point Guard #26
Ben Sheppard (left oblique strain) is out for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Sheppard will miss a second straight game after injuring his oblique during Monday’s game against the Heat. With Jarace Walker (illness) available, he and Quenton Jackson (who started on Wednesday), are the players who will absorb the minutes that would have gone to Sheppard. Neither offers an exceptionally high streaming ceiling.
  • IND Power Forward #5
Jarace Walker (illness) and Ben Sheppard (left oblique strain) are questionable to play against Milwaukee on Friday.
Sheppard has missed the team’s last two games, while Walker was able to play through this illness in their last game. Sheppard should return to his spot in the starting unit if he is available, which would push Quenton Jackson to the bench. Walker’s potential absence would open up extra minutes for Obi Toppin
  • IND Power Forward #43
Pascal Siakam had 21 points (8-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Despite losing by 17, most of the Pacers’ starters played around 30 minutes on Wednesday, though Siakam was the only one of them that put up decent numbers for fantasy. He’s now scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games. Spicy P continues to be a top-50 player in fantasy. Indiana will be back on the floor to take on the Bucks Friday.
  • IND Shooting Guard #29
Tyrese Haliburton, Quenton Jackson, Bennedict Mathurin, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner will start Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Jackson and Turner are the changes from the quintet that started Monday’s loss to the Raptors. Jackson replaces Jarace Walker, while Turner’s return means Enrique Freeman heads to the bench. Turner is a fantasy mainstay, while Jackson is not worth the streaming risk in most leagues.
