Kyle Anderson (personal) is out for Friday’s game against the Mavericks.
Anderson, who missed two games with a sore right knee, was not with the team for Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors for personal reasons. He’ll miss another game on Friday, further enhancing the fantasy value of GG Jackson and Taylor Hendricks. Jackson is the superior fantasy option of the two.

GG Jackson tallied 24 points (8-of-12 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors.
A starter in eight of Memphis’ last nine games, Jackson has been one of the Grizzlies’ most reliable fantasy options since the trade deadline. Rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided seventh-round per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. With it being unknown when, or if, Santi Aldama and Zach Edey will return from their injuries, now would be a good time to add Jackson if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

Kyle Anderson (knee, personal) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Warriors.
Already dealing with a sore right knee, Anderson is also away from the Grizzlies for Wednesday’s game for personal reasons. With Jahmai Mashack (G League) also inactive, Memphis will continue to rely on Taylor Hendricks, GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper in the frontcourt.
  • MEM Forward-Guard #5
Kyle Anderson (knee) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Wednesday.
Slo Mo has missed the last two games for Memphis and could make it a third straight absence against Golden State. Taylor Hendricks and GG Jackson should continue to play big minutes as a starter, while Olivier-Maxence Prosper should take on extra minutes off the bench.

Kyle Anderson (knee) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Kings.
Andreson did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, and it appears likely that he’ll miss a second game on Monday. If so, the Grizzlies will once again rely on Taylor Hendricks and Olivier-Maxence Prosper as starters, with GG Jackson playing heavy minutes off the bench. Jackson is the best fantasy option of the three.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
GG Jackson amassed 28 points (11-of-17 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Heat.
Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Jackson appears poised to be a silly season standout the rest of this season. He’s scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games, with Saturday’s tally representing a new season-high. Also, Jackson put up a complete stat line against the Heat, matching his season-high with nine rebounds. Currently rostered in 20 percent of Yahoo! leagues, deep-league managers should ensure that GG isn’t sitting on their league’s waiver wire ahead of Memphis’ four-game Week 18.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
GG Jackson accounted for 20 points (7-of-13 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, on eblock and two three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Jazz.
For the first time this season, Jackson has scored at least 20 points in consecutive games. In fact, these were his first 20-point efforts of the season. Given the Grizzlies’ decision to trade Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Jazz, GG is a player who should be rostered the rest of the season. Memphis has one more game in Week 17, hosting the Heat on Saturday. That won’t be an easy matchup, but GG should still be slotted into fantasy lineups.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
GG Jackson led the Grizzlies with 21 points (6-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in a 122-116 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Jackson has been part of the rotation for most of the past two months, but he only started figuring things out over the past two weeks. He has scored in double figures in six of his last seven games while shooting at least 50 percent from the floor in all but one game during that stretch. With Memphis shifting towards a rebuild for the rest of this season, Jackson should play big minutes and be a productive option for the remainder of the year.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Friday’s game is the first of two in as many nights between the Grizzlies and Trail Blazers. Given the time he’s missed with a right knee issue, Aldama sitting out one of the games was expected. Due to the players traded, Memphis will be light on frontcourt options on Friday. Look for GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper to play plenty.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
Ty Jerome, Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, GG Jackson and Santi Aldama will start Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Wednesday’s game is the first for the Grizzlies since trading Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Aldama is back after missing four games with a knee injury and will start, with GG receiving a promotion. With the Grizzlies fully in rebuild mode, GG is worth picking up for the rest of the season.
