Grant Hill (knee) will begin running on a weight-bearing treadmill Monday.
There’s still no official timetable for his return and the Clippers have no plans to rush Hill back into the rotation. Still, even when he returns, the 40-year old remains of little use in most fantasy formats.

Grant Hill had 10 points, four assists and four rebounds in just under 20 minutes yesterday in a public scrimmage.
Hill, who dunked twice, reportedly looked terrific. “To not have been out there in a game in 20-odd months, it was a really good night for me,” Hill said. “I moved well and I felt pretty good. Still, there were some bad plays and some bad passes that I need to work on, but overall it was a pretty good week.”

Grant Hill will be monitored this preseason, but he is under no restrictions as far as minutes played.
Hill has been testing his ankle in vigorous workouts and scrimmages in the offseason, and hasn’t had any pain, or required ice or crutches. It appears okay to be cautiously optimistic about Hill.

Coach Johnny Davis might wait until Saturday morning’s shootaround to decide whether Grant Hill will play against Charlotte that day.
Hill is expected to start tonight and Friday, but Saturday would be his first set of back-to-back games, and the Magic don’t want to take any chances.

Grant Hill was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Very unusual to see a player take the honor when his team played just two games, but Hill’s astonishing comeback likely played a part in his being named. He averaged 30 points (on 67.6 percent shooting), six rebounds and 5.5 assists as the Magic won both games.

In Grant Hill’s mind, his comeback became official Saturday when he converted his first dunk of the season.
Hill, after four ankle surgeries, dunked against the Sixers with 6 minutes, 35 seconds left in the second quarter. He also was fouled on the play and made the free throw.

Grant Hill’s right shin injury kept him sidelined just so he wouldn’t favor his left leg -- the one with all the surgeries.
Hill said he hopes to be ready Sunday for the Lakers, but if not, “I’ll sit out as many games as necessary.”

Grant Hill (wrist) played Thursday, scoring 21 points, but said he has a painful cyst and may have to miss some games in order to rest it.
Hill said he has pain each time he shoots the ball, and would have to evaluate his injury after the game. If he misses time, Hedo Turkoglu and Doug Christie would both be in the starting lineup.

Grant Hill (wrist) will be a gametime decision tonight.
Doug Christie would start at small forward again if Hill can’t play. Reserve Hill this week if you have a viable alternative.

Grant Hill battled an infection after the latest surgery on his left ankle.
Hill is believed to be fine now, but he had problems with the healing of the skin on an incision after the ankle surgery performed in mid-March.
