Gradey Dick (left calf soreness) finished Sunday’s loss to the Cavaliers with 18 points (6-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.
Dick didn’t have his best night offensively, and things got worse when left calf soreness hastened his exit with 3:16 remaining in the fourth quarter. Davion Mitchell replaced him in the lineup and would likely return to the starting five if Gradey misses time. Toronto begins a four-game Week 6 in Detroit on Monday, so fantasy managers should plan for the possibility that Dick does not play.

Gradey Dick had 16 points (4-of-17 FGs), five rebounds and one 3-pointer against the Pistons on Friday.
Dick struggled mightily against the Pistons. He was 1-of-10 on 3-point attempts, including two misses in the final minute of the game that would’ve either tied or given the Raptors the lead. Dick’s still averaging 21.7 points and 38 percent from 3-point range in his last 10 games. It was just an off-game for the 20-year-old. It’ll be a quick turnaround for Dick as the Raptors play the Celtics on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back.

Gradey Dick had 32 points (7-of-20 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against the Bucks on Tuesday.
The Raptors lost, but Dick was able to put up points in a big way Tuesday. While he only made 4-of-10 3-point attempts, he was 14-of-16 from the free throw line. It would be unwise to count on that production going forward, but maybe Dick will have to be more aggressive without Immanuel Quickley in the lineup and that will lead to more free throws. The Raptors take on the Pistons on Friday and Celtics on Saturday.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick amassed 15 points (5-of-12 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Clippers.
Dick’s production has taken a hit after scoring 22 points or more in four straight games. He’s scored 22 over the last two, shooting 8-of-22 from the field and 2-of-10 from three. Fantasy managers should not be too concerned, given how well Dick has played throughout the season. But the return of Immanuel Quickley means there is one more critical offensive option on the court. Keep an eye on Gradey’s production, especially in Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick led the Raptors with 26 points (10-of-20 FGs), two rebounds, five assists, three steals, two blocks and four 3-pointers in a 121-119 loss to Denver on Monday.
The expectation may have been that Dick would be able to provide plenty of buckets while taking on more responsibility on the offensive end. However, it was difficult to imagine him making this much of an impact in category leagues. The five stocks, five assists and efficient shooting were all huge bonuses to another big scoring night for Dick. This was his fourth straight game with at least 20 points and his fifth in their last six games. He has been a top-40 player in 9-cat leagues so far this year, and there’s no reason to think that he’ll slow down soon.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick played 32 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Lakers, accounting for 31 points (13-of-26 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers.
Dick has established a career-high point total in three of his last four games. With Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley sidelined, there’s more room for the second-year wing to show off all aspects of his offensive game. Dick is still available in 64% of Yahoo leagues, and that number should decrease before Toronto’s game against the Kings on Saturday.
  • TOR Small Forward #11
Bruce Brown (right knee surgery) and Kelly Olynyk (back stiffness) will remain sidelined for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Both veterans will miss another game, and it is unclear when they will be back in the mix. Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji, Chris Boucher and Jonathan Mogbo should all continue to see extra minutes, with Gradey and Mogbo starting.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick shot 11-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to Charlotte, amassing 30 points, two rebounds, one assist, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
While he was already in the starting lineup, Dick was another Raptor well-positioned to raise his productivity in the aftermath of Scottie Barnes’ injury. Not only did he provide value in the points and 3-pointer categories, but there were also three steals from which fantasy managers could benefit. Rostered in 25% of Yahoo leagues, Dick is a worthwhile pickup, as the Raptors have two more games to play in Week 2.
  • TOR Small Forward #11
Bruce Brown (right knee surgery) and Kelly Olynyk (back stiffness) will miss Wednesday’s matchup with Charlotte.
Brown and Olynyk have yet to play in 2024-25, and there’s no timeline on when they might make their debuts. Until they’re available, Chris Boucher and Gradey Dick should see additional minutes.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick accounted for 25 points (9-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, two assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Minnesota.
After scoring 24 points on 8-of-22 shooting in Toronto’s first two games, Dick broke out on Saturday. Shooting above 50% from the field, he notched a new career-high with 25 points while hitting four 3-pointers. The limited production outside of points and 3-pointers lowers Dick’s fantasy ceiling, but he’s worthy of consideration in deep leagues.
