Caris LeVert (right knee soreness) will play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
LeVert will be back after missing their last two games, which means that Sam Merrill and Georges Niang will likely lose out on a few minutes each. LeVert has gotten off to a strong start this season and will look to keep it up against a depleted Pelicans roster.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #3
Caris LeVert (right knee soreness) and Dean Wade (illness) have been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
LeVert missed their last game, which allowed Isaac Okoro, Sam Merrill and Georges Niang to all play over 20 minutes off the bench. With Wade also sidelined, one of those three will likely make the move into the starting unit, with the other two playing significant reserve roles. Merrill should supply plenty of 3-pointers, while Okoro should be the most well-rounded option.
  • CLE Power Forward #32
Dean Wade is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Bucks due to an illness.
If Wade is sidelined, Isaac Okoro and Georges Niang could see increased run against Milwaukee.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #35
Isaac Okoro (right great toe sprain) is listed as questionable to play against the Clippers on Sunday.
Okoro has missed the team’s last four games, but there is a chance that he is back in the lineup on Sunday. With Donovan Mitchell, his return would provide them with a nice boost on the wing. If not, Sam Merill and Georges Niang should see most of the minutes off the bench.
  • CLE Small Forward #20
Georges Niang provided a boost off the bench with 25 points (10-of-14 FGs), one block and five 3-pointers against the 76ers on Friday.
Niang has been a solid bench piece for Cleveland all season, and this has been one of his best stretches. Despite being pushed back to the bench with Evan Mobley healthy, Niang, has averaged 18.7 points and 4.7 triples over his last three games. He doesn’t contribute in many categories, but he is on a heater with his shot. It has been an excellent first season with the Cavaliers, and they’ll need him to continue to play well if they want to make some noise in the playoffs. They wrap up the week in Denver on Sunday, but unless you’re desperate for some 3-pointers, it may be best to look in other directions.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley is available for Monday’s matchup with Charlotte.
Max Strus and Dean Wade remain out, so Mobley should see a sizeable workload in the frontcourt alongside Jarrett Allen. Georges Niang will likely see his role reduced.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley played 21 minutes in Sunday’s 121-84 loss to the Heat, scoring 15 points (4-of-6 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds, one assist, and two 3-pointers.
Sunday’s game was Mobley’s first after a nine-game absence, and he posted adequate offensive numbers during his time on the court. However, this was a “burn the tape” game for the Cavaliers, who were run off the floor by the Heat. That limited Mobley’s “quality” reps, as he began the fourth quarter on the court while the other starters had already been benched. Given the time missed, he should be considered questionable for Monday’s game against the Hornets. Georges Niang, who moved to the bench with Mobley back in the lineup, tallied six points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes off the bench.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley is expected to return Sunday against the Heat after missing Cleveland’s last nine games due to a left ankle sprain.
Mobley’s return should mean a shift back to the bench for Georges Niang who has benefited from Mobley’s (as well as Dean Wade’s and Max Strus’) absences. Jarrett Allen’s production could take a hit with his frontcourt partner back in action.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Mobley is closing in on his first game action since spraining his ankle during a March 5 win over Boston. The player impacted the most by his status is Georges Niang, who has filled in admirably as Mobley’s replacement in the starting lineup. Niang is worth holding onto in deep leagues until Mobley is cleared to play without restrictions.
  • CLE Power Forward #32
Dean Wade (right knee soreness) is considered doubtful for Monday’s game against the Pacers.
Wade sat out Saturday’s loss to the Rockets, which was supposed to be his first game back after missing two for personal reasons. Appearing likely to remain sidelined on Monday, Wade’s minutes will be absorbed by Georges Niang (who’s starting for Evan Mobley), with Tristan Thompson also available to play rotation minutes. Niang is worth streaming, while fantasy managers can afford to leave Thompson on the waiver wire.
