  • LAL Point Guard #1
D’Angelo Russell missed all seven of his shot attempts in Thursday’s 112-105 loss to the Nuggets, going scoreless with three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 24 minutes.
After bouncing back from a mediocre Game 1 with a quality effort in Game 2, there was hope that Russell could build on that 23-point night. That did not happen; he was 0-of-6 from three and 0-of-7 from the field overall. Due to his struggles, Russell lost minutes to Spencer Dinwiddie, who logged 22 and finished with eight points, two rebounds, and three assists. With the Lakers needing a win on Saturday to extend their season, it would be unsurprising if Darvin Ham did not wait long to pull Russell if he doesn’t have it. If that happens, Dinwiddie and Gabe Vincent (four points, four rebounds in 20 minutes) will play more minutes.
  • LAL Small Forward #5
Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain) is out for Saturday’s game against the Nuggets.
Reddish’s continued absence will not significantly impact the Lakers’ rotation, as Gabe Vincent moved ahead of him in the pecking order before the ankle injury. Those competing in playoff fantasy/DFS tournaments can afford to leave Vincent alone.

Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans.
Reddish’s absence will not significantly impact the Lakers’ rotation, as fellow reserve guard Gabe Vincent can absorb his minutes. Vincent is unlikely to get the minutes needed to be relevant in DFS tournaments.
  • LAL Small Forward #5
Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain) was downgraded to questionable for Tuesday’s Play-In tournament matchup with New Orleans.
After missing three games at the beginning of the month for personal reasons, Reddish played sparingly in the following two. He would then pick up DNP-CDs in the Lakers’ final two regular season games. His status downgrade isn’t significant, as Gabe Vincent passed Reddish in the rotation upon returning from knee surgery.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent (left knee injury management) is not on the injury report for Tuesday’s matchup with the Warriors.
After missing most of the season, Vincent will be able to play for the fourth time in their last six games after sitting out on Sunday. He has played around 14 minutes per game since his return, and while he will likely see a similar role, he has provided virtually no value in fantasy basketball. He shouldn’t be considered as a streaming option.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent (left knee injury management) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Sunday’s game is the Lakers’ second in as many days, so Vincent sitting is unsurprising. Max Christie could sneak into the back end of the rotation, but this would not be enough to make him a viable streaming option.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish are off the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s matchup with Washington.
Both players should provide quality depth for the Lakers, but neither will see enough playing time or usage to be worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent (left knee injury management) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.
After playing 14 minutes in his first game back from left knee surgery, Vincent will not be available for Tuesday’s game in Toronto. That contest is the first of a back-to-back, with the Lakers scheduled to visit the Wizards on Wednesday. Look for Vincent to be available on Wednesday, providing depth and defense off the bench.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent returned to the lineup on Sunday and contributed two points (1-of-4 FGs), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 14 minutes against Brooklyn.
This was just Vincent’s second game since October and just his sixth of the season. After an excellent playoff run with Miami last season, it has been a disappointing first year with the Lakers. He played big minutes in his first four games of the season, so as he plays more games, he could end up playing a significant role. However, with two weeks left in the season, it is unlikely that he makes much of an impact in fantasy hoops. It’s great to see him back out on the court, but he isn’t a player to consider rostering.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy), Anthony Davis (left knee hyperextension), and Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery) are available for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
LeBron and AD will take on their usual roles within the starting lineup. As for Vincent, this will be his first action since December, so fantasy managers should not expect too much from him. Nothing has been announced regarding a minutes restriction, but he’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball immediately.
