Frank Kaminsky has agreed to a deal with Serbian club KK Partizan Mozzart Bet.
After eight seasons in the NBA, the 2015 first-round pick is headed to Serbia to continue his professional career. Kaminsky appeared in 36 games for the Hawks and Rockets last season, playing a little over six minutes per appearance. A lot will be expected of him with Partizan Mozzart, which reached the quarterfinals of the Euroleague and won the Adriatic League title last season.
  • Frank Kaminsky (migraine) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Kaminsky is all set to return after missing Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies. However, there’s no guarantee he’ll get rotation minutes, so leave Kaminsky on the waiver wire.

  • Frank Kaminsky (migraine) has been downgraded to out for Friday’s matchup with Memphis.
Kaminsky won’t be available to play, but he isn’t part of their rotation, so this won’t impact fantasy basketball.

  • Frank Kaminsky went scoreless (0-of-2 FGs) in Monday’s 123-104 loss to the 76ers, tallying one rebound, one assist, and one blocked shot.
With Danny Green (Cavaliers) and Justin Holiday (Mavericks) negotiating buyouts shortly after being traded to the Rockets, Kaminsky and Boban Marjanovic (seven points and one rebound in four minutes) are the Rockets’ most experienced remaining players. Both will be more valuable for shepherding along the team’s young core than they will be to fantasy managers. But you likely already knew that.

  • Shooting Guard #9
Justin Holiday and Frank Kaminsky are available to play in Friday’s game against the Heat.
Holiday and Kaminsky were traded from Atlanta to Houston, with Garrison Mathews and Bruno Fernando heading in the opposite direction. The two veterans will be available Friday night, but that doesn’t mean either will get the minutes needed to be relevant in fantasy basketball. Leave Holiday and Kaminsky on the waiver wire, as they’re more valuable to the Rockets as veteran leaders.

  • Frank Kaminsky is headed to the Houston Rockets along with Justin Holiday in exchange for Garrison Matthews and Bruno Fernando, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Frank is on now on his way to Houston as part of this deal. Only appearing in 26 games this season for Atlanta, his movement shouldn’t impact fantasy managers at all.

  • ATL Shooting Guard #24
Garrison Mathews has been traded to the Hawks in a deal involving Frank Kaminsky, Bruno Fernando and Justin Holiday.
In terms of Trade Deadline Day excitement, this deal isn’t exactly titillating, as all of Mathews, Fernando, Kaminsky and Holiday will provide depth to their respective teams without making much of a fantasy impact.

  • ATL Center #17
Onyeka Okongwu (left hamstring tightness) has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Bulls.
Okongwu will not play Monday night, which frees up additional minutes for Jalen Johnson. Johnson only played nine minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, and he isn’t worth adding as a streamer. We may also see Frank Kaminsky making an appearance, but the Hawks are likely hoping that starting center Clint Capela can approach 30 minutes on Monday.

  • ATL Center #17
Onyeka Okongwu is questionable for Monday’s game against the Bulls with left hamstring tightness.
Okongwu’s hamstring issue flared up during the first half of Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, but he was able to return to that game. His availability for Monday’s game won’t impact the starting lineup, as Clint Capela has re-entered the starting lineup. But it would impact the back end of the rotation, with Jalen Johnson in line for more playing time. Frank Kaminsky could enter the rotation if Okongwu sits, but he would not be worth streaming.

  • Frank Kaminsky provided a spark off the bench against Milwaukee as he put up 13 points (5-for-7 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three triples on Wednesday.
Onyeka Okongwu has been the starting center with Clint Capela out. There hasn’t been any indication of how long he’d be sidelined, but they did recently sign Derrick Favors to a 10-day contract. Kaminsky is the backup center with Capela sidelined, but he hasn’t really given the Hawks much this season, before this game. He provided a fantastic spark in their third quarter comeback, but it’s likely just a nice game for him. He isn’t worth a roster spot outside of 30-team leagues.
