Evan Turner will join Boston’s coaching staff, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
A 10-year NBA veteran, Turner had two of his best seasons with the Celtics in 2014-16 and made lots of good relationships during his stay. Turner will focus on player development in Boston, Charania adds.

Evan Turner (not with team) will not play on Sunday against the Nuggets or on Monday vs. Dallas.
He’s reportedly discussing a buyout deal with Minnesota, so it’s unlikely he’ll be donning a Timberwolves jersey at any point this season. Leave him on the wire.

Evan Turner will not play Friday vs. the Celtics, as he is still not with the team following the All-Star break.
Turner reportedly worked out for the Clippers last weekend, as he is currently negotiating a buy out with the Wolves. It’s highly unlikely he ever joins the Timberwolves. Turner should be left on waivers in all fantasy formats.

According to Chris Hayes of Yahoo Sports, Evan Turner will work out for the Clippers on Saturday.
Turner has a buyout pending with the Wolves and has received permission from Minnesota for work out for the Clips. Turner is unlikely to have fantasy value, regardless of where he ends up.

Evan Turner is listed ‘out’ for Monday’s game vs. Toronto.
Turner is reportedly discussing a buyout with the Wolves, who have little incentive to hold onto a disaffected veteran. If he does sign with a contending team this season, it’s hard to envision him as a fantasy asset.

The Wolves and Evan Turner are discussing a buyout.
Turner’s position flexibility could help the Wolves if they were thin at 2-4, and he was even the backup PG coming into the season for the Hawks. Turner likely wouldn’t be in the rotation if he stayed around, so he can stay on the wire.

Evan Turner has been traded to the Wolves.
He was just salary filler and is unlikely to play a big role on the rebuilding Wolves. Even if does walk into minutes, Turner has looked washed up this season and fantasy owners can safely leave him on the wire.

The Timberwolves, Hawks and Rockets are involved in serious talks for a deal that would send Robert Covington to the Rockets, Clint Capela to the Hawks and Evan Turner and draft compensation to Minnesota, according to Shams Charania.
There’s also a potential for a fourth team to be involved if a deal goes down, but thus far these are just talks. Capela would likely thrive in Atlanta, while Covington may struggle for touches on a team that includes James Harden and Russell Westbrook, while he could also cool off a streaking Danuel House in Houston. Covington doesn’t need a ton of shots to offer value though, as most of it comes from his steals, blocks and threes. Stay tuned.

Evan Turner was told he will not be active on Friday because of a rebuild with younger talent.
The writing was on the wall for this for months, so taking Turner out of the mix could get Cam Reddish a few extra minutes.

Evan Turner was a healthy scratch for Monday vs. the Magic.
He’s been pretty banged up but Turner hasn’t played well in his limited minutes. Unless you’re tanking your fantasy league, leave Turner on the wire.
