  • FA Shooting Guard #31
Evan Fournier has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with Olympiacos.
Fournier finished last season with Detroit after a few years with the Knicks. After playing with France this summer, he’ll remain in Europe for next season. It has been a few years since he was relevant in fantasy hoops, so this move won’t have much of an impact.

Rudy Gobert finished Tuesday’s win over Canada with a rebound and a turnover across three minutes.
Rudy and Evan Fournier (15 points, three triples) were benched following Friday’s loss to Germany, and the move worked, as the host team took down the undefeated Canadians. It’s unclear what Gobert’s playing time will look like for Thursday’s rematch with Germany, but the team had a tremendous performance with his role minimized, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he came off the bench again.

The Pistons will not pick up Evan Fournier’s $19 million team option.
Fournier was completely out of the rotation with the Knicks last season, but he ended up playing a decent-sized role for Detroit after the trade deadline. However, there was no chance that they were going to pay him $19 million next season. He’ll have a chance to start fresh, but it’s unlikely that he is relevant in fantasy hoops next season.

Evan Fournier (right knee soreness) will play against the 76ers on Tuesday.
After missing their last game, Fournier will be back in the lineup against Philly. Jared Rhoden and Jaylen Nowell may lose out on a few minutes, but with 14 games being played on Tuesday, this won’t impact fantasy basketball.

Evan Fournier (right knee soreness) is probable for Tuesday’s game against Philadelphia.
Fournier sat out of Saturday’s loss to the Nets, with Jared Rhoden playing 21 minutes off the bench and Jaylen Nowell 19. None of these players are must-stream options in active leagues, especially if Cade Cunningham (knee) is allowed to play.

Evan Fournier (right knee soreness) will not play in Saturday’s game against the Nets.
After playing 29 minutes in an April 1 loss to Memphis, Fournier logged 18 minutes (three on Friday) in the two following games. Jaylen Nowell and Malachi Flynn played most of the perimeter minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to Memphis, and that’s unlikely to change on Saturday. Starter Marcus Sasser is a better streaming option than both, but Flynn is worth a look in deep leagues due to Saturday’s slate consisting of four games.
  • DET Small Forward #19
Simone Fontecchio (left great toe contusion) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Fontecchio will miss a fourth consecutive game due to a toe injury, leaving Troy Brown Jr. in the starting lineup. However, Brown only played 21 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, and Evan Fournier would be a better streaming option despite coming off the bench.
  • DET Shooting Guard #17
Stanley Umude (right ankle fracture) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Umude has been starting over their last few games, but he has been added to the list of Pistons that are out for the rest of the year. Tosan Evbuomwan, Evan Fournier, Marcus Sasser and Troy Brown Jr. are all players that should take on extra unexpected minutes over the final few weeks of the season.

Stanley Umude (right ankle injury) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Umude started Wednesday’s game and played 22 minutes before exiting. He finished with eight points (3-of-6 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs) and one rebound. Should he miss time, Evan Fournier would move up in the pecking order, especially if starter Simone Fontecchio remains sidelined.
  • DET Small Forward #19
Simone Fontecchio (left great toe contusion) and Taj Gibson (right hamstring soreness) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup with Indiana.
Detroit already lost Ausar Thompson and Isaiah Stewart for the season, which was announced Wednesday afternoon. They will be incredibly shorthanded for this game and will likely have to turn to Evan Fournier and Chimezie Metu, who they signed to a 10-day deal earlier in the day, to play big minutes.
