Ekpe Udoh is joining the Atlanta Hawks coaching staff under Quinn Snyder according to Shams Charania of The Athletic
Udoh, a seven-year veteran and former No. 6 overall pick last played in the NBA in 2019 and most recently had stints playing in Europe and China.

Ekpe Udoh has signed a one-year contract with the Beijing Ducks, according to Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News in Utah.
Udoh spent the last two seasons playing minimal minutes with the Jazz as the backup to Rudy Gobert. Eurohoops.net also reports that he’ll become the highest paid import player in the league.

Ekpe Udoh is reportedly considering returning to Europe next season.
In 2017, Udoh carried Fenerbahce to a EuroLeague title and was named Final Four MVP. He then signed a two-year deal with the Jazz, but never carved out a role in Utah’s rotation, averaging just 2.5 points in under ten minutes per game.

Ekpe Udoh (back) played two minutes vs. the Thunder on Monday with one rebound.
This sums up his fantasy value as the third-string center in Utah. Leave him on the wire.

Epke Udoh (back spasms) is listed as available for Monday’s game vs. Oklahoma City.
Udoh being available to play gives Utah another front court option if needed. But outside of multiple bigs getting into foul trouble or there being injuries, he doesn’t stand to see much playing time Monday night.
  • UTA Center #33
Ekpe Udoh (back spasms) is listed as probable for Monday’s game.
Udoh was available on Friday but he’s not part of the rotation anyway, so his availability doesn’t impact fantasy owners.
  • UTA Center #33
Updating a previous item, Ekpe Udoh (back) is available for Friday against the Grizzlies.
Derrick Favors has looked his best all season, so the Jazz certainly don’t need Udoh right now.
  • UTA Center #33
Ekpe Udoh (back spasms) will not play on Friday vs. the Grizzlies.
Udoh is not a consistent part of the rotation as Utah’s 3rd-string center, so this doesn’t impact fantasy leagues.
  • UTA Center #33
Ekpe Udoh (back spasms) won’t play on Wednesday.
Udoh hasn’t appeared in a game since Feb. 9, of course, so his absence won’t impact fantasy owners.
  • FA Point Guard #13
Ricky Rubio (back) and Jae Crowder (thumb) will be available to play on Tuesday vs. Toronto.
Both guys are set to return from a one-game absence, which will result in fewer minutes for Dante Exum, Ekpe Udoh and Royce O’Neale, with Exum returning to the second unit. Feel free to get Rubio active for Tuesday’s game.
