Duncan Robinson got another start on Tuesday and put up 11 points (4-of-7 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal and two triples against the Bucks.
Robinson started their last two games with Terry Rozier sidelined, but he was able to remain in the starting unit despite Rozier’s return for this game. That likely won’t continue, but Robinson was able to have a productive night. His playmaking leap last season has continued this year, especially recently. He was able to set a new season-high for dimes in this one and was still able to provide some buckets and triples. Robinson’s role has been inconsistent, and he hasn’t always been productive when he gets the minutes. That makes him a difficult player to roster, but he was solid in this game.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier (right foot neuroma) will play against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Rozier was initially listed as probable and has officially been cleared to play in this game. His return might push Duncan Robinson back to the bench and limit the minutes of Pelle Larsson and Alec Burks, who logged over 30 minutes off the bench in their last game. However, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has not settled on a starting lineup, so it’s unknown if Rozier will start or come off the bench.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier (right foot neuroma) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Bucks.
Rozier missed Miami’s last two games because of what was initially described as right foot discomfort. He appears on track to play against the Bucks, which would prompt Duncan Robinson to return to the bench. Robinson is primarily a fantasy basketball specialist, providing points and 3-pointers. His move to the bench will not have a significant impact.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier (right foot discomfort) has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Rozier was initially listed as probable for this game, so his absence is a surprising one. Duncan Robinson started in his place in their last game, with Dru Smith playing a large role off the bench. Robinson may be in line for another start, but with Smith sidelined for this one, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Alec Burks and Josh Richardson may have to take on some playmaking responsibility.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier (right foot discomfort) is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against Dallas.
Duncan Robinson got the start in their last game, but he should return to a bench role with Rozier back. Jimmy Butler is questionable with an illness, so Rozier may have to take on a larger offensive load in this game.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Jaquez Jr. missed their last game on Monday, but after almost a full week to recover, he’ll be back in the lineup against Dallas. Jimmy Butler (illness) is questionable for this game, so Jaquez Jr. may take on a larger workload in this game.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
Duncan Robinson amassed 13 points (5-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes in Monday’s win over the 76ers.
Robinson was solid in Monday’s victory, but the few managers who streamed him likely hoped for more production. Ranked just outside the top 200 in 9-cat formats, Robinson’s rostered in 7% of Yahoo leagues. Look for that number to decrease, as the Heat don’t play again until Sunday against the Mavericks.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
The Heat will start Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Duncan Robinson, Haywood Highsmith and Bam Adebayo against the 76ers on Monday.
Butler’s return pushes Kevin Love out of the starting unit, but his return lines up with Terry Rozier dealing with a foot issue. Robinson will replace him in the starting unit and should play big minutes with Jaime Jaquez Jr. also sidelined.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Jimmy Butler (right ankle sprain) is available for Monday’s matchup with the 76ers, while Terry Rozier (right foot discomfort) and Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) are out.
Butler will return following a four-game absence, and he’ll presumably return to the starting lineup and handle a normal workload. With Jaquez Jr. and Rozier sidelined, expect Duncan Robinson and Josh Richardson to see increased run.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
Duncan Robinson finished Friday’s loss to the Nuggets with 20 points (7-of-12 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers in 20 minutes.
Robinson was one of the players whose opportunities increased once Jimmy Butler exited with a sprained ankle during Friday’s game. Not only did he establish new season-highs in points and 3-pointers, but this was also Robinson’s first double-digit scoring effort. Whether Robinson has fantasy value moving forward will depend on Butler’s availability.
