ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Pistons signed Duncan Robinson to a three-year, $48 million deal.
Having exercised his $20 million early termination option on Sunday, Robinson’s chances of staying with the Heat were slim. On Tuesday, he found his next home, with the Pistons acquiring the veteran sharpshooter via sign-and-trade. In exchange for Robinson, the Pistons sent Simone Fontecchio to Miami. The Heat’s franchise leader in three-pointers made, Robinson averaged 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.6 three-pointers per game last season. With Malik Beasley being the subject of a gambling probe and Tim Hardaway Jr. leaving the team to sign with the Nuggets, adding Robinson gives Detroit a valuable three-point shooter heading into next season.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Duncan Robinson has exercised his early termination option and will be an unrestricted free agent.
Robinson possessed an early termination option worth $20 million. While the decision to exercise it will make the Heat guard an unrestricted free agent, it’s been reported that the door is not closed on a return. Charania says Robinson will work with the Heat on a new deal. While he can provide points and three-pointers, Robinson has primarily been a specialist in category leagues. That’s unlikely to change next season, regardless of where he signs.
  • MIA Point Guard #45
Davion Mitchell, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Kel’el Ware will start Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Tyler Herro, Alec Burks, Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo are out for Sunday’s regular-season finale, getting an extra day of rest before Wednesday’s play-in tournament matchup with the Bulls. Mitchell, Robinson, Jaquez and Highsmith are the replacements, with the first two being especially valuable to fantasy managers in active leagues seeking value on the waiver wire.
  • MIA Center #13
Bam Adebayo (back) is available for Wednesday’s matchup with the Bulls, and Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is questionable.
Adebayo will return following a one-game absence, which will likely send Pelle Larsson back to the bench after a spot start on Monday. Wiggins hasn’t played since March 27, but he has a chance to return against Chicago. If Wiggins gets the green light, Duncan Robinson and Haywood Highsmith could see a dip in playing time.

Duncan Robinson shot 7-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Monday’s win over the 76ers, amassing 21 points, two rebounds, one assist, one block and five three-pointers in 25 minutes.
On a night when they were forced to play without the injured Bam Adebayo, Miami’s bench stepped up to handle business. Robinson shot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc, and the 21 points are the most he’s scored in a game since March 17, when he dropped 22 in a loss to the Knicks. Robinson’s inconsistent production makes him a challenging player to trust in most fantasy leagues, and Miami’s ever-changing rotation did not help this season, either.
  • MIA Power Forward #24
Tyler Herro, Alec Burks, Pelle Larsson, Haywood Highsmith and Kel’el Ware will start Monday’s game against the 76ers.
The good news for Miami is that Herro is back after missing Saturday’s loss to the Bucks due to an injury. His return means Duncan Robinson heads to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a noticeable hit. However, the Heat will be without Bam Adebayo, so Highsmith moves into the starting five. While starting gives him a shot at fantasy relevance, Haywood’s inconsistent production makes him difficult to rely on.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro (thigh) and Alec Burks (back) are available for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Herro is back in the Heat lineup after missing Saturday’s loss to the Bucks. His return means Duncan Robinson will head to the bench, which limits the three-point shooter’s fantasy value. Burks has been a fixture in the starting lineup since March 25, and that’s unlikely to change on Monday.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #18
Alec Burks (back) and Haywood Highsmith (Achilles) are questionable for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Burks’ status is up in the air, and Highsmith remains one of Miami’s most reliable reserves. Duncan Robinson could step in for Burks if he’s ruled out. Kyle Anderson could steal some minutes from Highsmith if he’s unable to lace up on Monday.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
Duncan Robinson shot 6-of-15 from the field in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks, tallying 16 points, two rebounds, three assists and four three-pointers in 31 minutes.
The Heat were without Tyler Herro for Saturday’s game, leading to Robinson moving into the starting lineup. The good news for the Heat is that he played 31 minutes without any issues, as Robinson has been dealing with a back injury. From a production standpoint, the points and three-pointers were expected. If Herro remains out for Monday’s game against the 76ers, Robinson will be a worthwhile streamer in active leagues.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
Alec Burks, Duncan Robinson, Pelle Larsson, Kel’el Ware and Bam Adebayo will start Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
The Heat had a massive void to fill in their starting lineup for Saturday, as Tyler Herro has been ruled out due to injury. Robinson, who can provide points and three-pointers, will replace him in the lineup. Something else to watch will be Adebayo’s assist tally, as he should be more involved as a playmaker in the Herro-less lineup.
