Norman Powell (shoulder) and Ivica Zubac (ankle) are questionable for Friday’s game against the Kings.
While Zubac was on the court Wednesday night, recording his first career triple-double, Powell was held out due to a shoulder injury. He was replaced in the lineup by Derrick Jones Jr., who will likely retain that role if Powell does not play in Sacramento. As for Zubac, Drew Eubanks and Ben Simmons would be available to absorb his minutes.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks (hip) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Eubanks is available after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Pelicans. While he provides depth behind starter Ivica Zubac, there’s no need to consider rostering Eubanks.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks (hip) has been downgraded to out against the Pelicans on Tuesday.
Eubanks will miss Tuesday’s game, but he fell out of the rotation against Sacramento on Sunday. Tyronn Lue will likely utilize a smaller lineup when Ivica Zubac isn’t on the floor against New Orleans, which should lead to Derrick Jones Jr. minutes at center.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks (ankle) and Amir Coffey (knee) are available for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
Eubanks and Coffey were two of the rotation players held out of the Clippers’ February 13 win over the Jazz, with the former missing two games before the All-Star break. While they will be available for Thursday, so will everyone else of consequence. That limits the fantasy ceilings of Eubanks and Coffey, especially with Ben Simmons now in the fold.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
Eubanks suffered an ankle injury during his last meeting with the Jazz and did not return. He’ll need at least another game to recover and it’s unclear how Los Angeles will tackle filling its backup center spot.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks (ankle) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
A left ankle sprain will keep Eubanks sidelined for the rest of this game. Eubanks played six minutes prior to his injury. He has been filling out the backup center minutes behind Ivica Zubac, but with Kai Jones currently in the G-League, the Clippers don’t have another option behind Zubac. Tyronn Lue will likely utilize some small ball lineups.
  • LAC Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills will be available to play against the Lakers on Tuesday.
This wasn’t the biggest trade that went down this weekend featuring the Jazz and a Los Angeles team, but both players were sent to the Clippers on Saturday. They will be able to suit up for the first time on Tuesday, though it is unclear what their roles will look like. Eubanks will have a much better chance to play minutes off the bench than Mills, and he may be the team’s backup center. However, neither is worth rostering at this point.
  • UTA Power Forward #15
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Clippers have acquired Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills from the Jazz in exchange for P.J. Tucker, Mo Bamba, a second-round pick, and cash.
Eubanks has been a reserve for most of this season, serving as Walker Kessler’s backup. In 37 appearances for the Jazz, he averaged 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.9 blocks in 15.4 minutes per game. While Eubanks did not impact fantasy basketball with the Jazz outside of a few spot starts and won’t with the Clippers, he’ll strengthen the rotation behind starting center Ivica Zubac.
  • UTA Power Forward #15
Drew Eubanks got another start on Tuesday and contributed 13 points (6-of-8 FGs), four rebounds, two assists and four blocks against the Warriors.
With Walker Kessler and John Collins sidelined for another game, Eubanks remained in the starting unit. Eubanks was joined by Micah Potter as the starters down low, and Potter finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers. The Jazz have two more games this week, and if Kessler and Collins remain out, Eubanks and Potter should continue to start. They play on Thursday, which is a day with only five games. They could be worth streaming for that day, and Utah continues to tank hard, they will be silly season targets.
  • UTA Center #24
John Collins (illness) and Walker Kessler (shoulder) have been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Warriors.
This will be a third straight absence for Collins and a second straight for Kessler. Micah Potter and Drew Eubanks started at the post positions on Monday, and they should retain those roles once again, with Kyle Filipowski playing a large role off the bench.
