Williams, who was signed to a two-way contract after not being selected in the 2022 NBA Draft, appeared in two games for the Hawks as a rookie. He’ll likely look to catch on with another team ahead of Summer League action, which begins in early July.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Hawks are signing Donovan Williams to a two-way contract.

Undrafted out of UNLV, Williams averaged 15.6 points per game with the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League. In order to free up a roster spot for him, the Hawks will waive former lottery pick Jarrett Culver.
