Dominic McGuire will start in place of Stephen Curry on Wednesday night.
Monta Ellis will slide to shooting guard, Dorell Wright will start at shooting guard and McGuire will go at small forward. Maybe the position change will help Wright, who has been in a slump for much of the season.
  • UTA Small Forward #8
Dominic McGuire started in place of injured Stephen Curry and failed to score, missing his only shot, but did have 15 rebounds in a win over the Hawks.
McGuire played 36 minutes but it sounds like Curry will be back sooner than later from his foot injury. Ignore McGuire.
  • GSW Point Guard #30
Stephen Curry has been ruled out Friday against the Sixers due to a right foot injury.
He might have aggravated the injury while warming up, but we’re still waiting for more details. In the meantime, Dominic McGuire will start in his place again tonight.
  • GSW Point Guard #30
Stephen Curry test his foot on Friday before the game to see if he can play.
Dominic McGuire will once again get the start, but Curry hasn’t officially been ruled out. If Curry does play, it sounds like he’ll come off the bench. There isn’t a lot of optimism surrounding Curry’s chances of playing, but he’s determined to get back on the court as soon as possible. Check back for an update closer to tipoff for official word on Curry’s status.
  • UTA Small Forward #8
Dominic McGuire started for injured Stephen Curry (foot) on Friday, going scoreless without any shot attempts and finishing with six rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 29 minutes.
McGuire did his job as a defensive specialist, but there’s no reason to believe he’ll offer any fantasy value, even in spot opportunities.
  • UTA Center #11
Andris Biedrins (undisclosed) may not travel with the Warriors on their upcoming two-game road trip.
Biedrins lasted just four minutes on Monday night, forcing the Warriors to use David Lee at center and Dominic McGuire at power forward for much of the game. Ekpe Udoh is in Milwaukee, Andrew Bogut (ankle) is hurt and J.J. Hickson won’t clear waivers until Wednesday. The Warriors’ tank is in full effect and they may be forced to start McGuire against the Hornets Wednesday.
  • UTA Center #11
Andris Biedrins (groin) is a game-time decision against the Hornets on Wednesday.
Biedrins should be nowhere near your fantasy roster at any time. Dominic McGuire played 34 minutes in Golden State’s last game with Biedrins getting just five minutes of run, and he’s likely to see increased playing time once again.
  • UTA Center #11
Updating a previous item, Andris Biedrins (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday against the Hornets.
David Lee is expected to start at center with Dominic McGuire seeing time as well, and we could even see some of Jeremy Tyler without Biedrins int he lineup. Lee is the biggest beneficiary from a fantasy standpoint as he’ll play all the minutes he can handle.

Updating a previous item, Andris Biedrins (groin) will travel with the Warriors on their upcoming two-game road trip.
Biedrins has been diagnosed with a strained right groin and is listed as day-to-day. Considering the Warriors ridiculous lack of depth up front, Biedrins may try to gut it out. Dominic McGuire and Jeremy Tyler are the other options for Mark Jackson, at least until J.J. Hickson gets in town.
  • GSW Power Forward #10
David Lee underwent an MRI Friday morning that revealed a strained groin and a stress reaction, and he will not play on Saturday against the Clippers.
Apparently Lee has been dealing with the issue for weeks. Following the MRI, he was told by team doctors that he should not play until he is fully healed, or risk causing further substantial injury. This doesn’t sound like a day-to-day injury and this late in the season it’s definitely a shutdown risk. The Warriors don’t have any real replacement for Lee, but Jeremy Tyler, Dominic McGuire, and Mickell Gladness are the next guys up, with Tyler and McGuire being the guys to look at in fantasy leagues.
