Desmond Bane logged 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Kings.
Bane put together a solid final line in Thursday’s win. He shot the ball well on minimal attempts, made the majority of his three-point attempts, and was active on the defensive end of the floor. Despite the scoreboard being fairly one-sided, he still was able to log 32 minutes of game action, which was crucial to his overall production. He’ll have a chance to log another good performance on Saturday against the Suns.

Desmond Bane led the Magic with 31 points (11-of-17 FGs), two rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and eight three-pointers in a 116-108 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday.
Bane got off to a scorching hot start to this game, scoring 15 points on five triples in the first quarter. He ended up matching his career high for three-pointers in a game, though he only three more over the final three quarters, which wasn’t enough for Orlando to get the win. Still, Bane has scored at least 20 points in four straight games entering the All-Star break and will look to pick up where he left off after some time off.

Desmond Bane finished Monday’s win over the Bucks with 25 points (8-of-11 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers.
Of the five games Orlando has played in February, Bane has scored at least 22 in four. He had another excellent night shooting the basketball on Monday, making all six of his attempts inside the arc and shooting 2-of-5 from three. Over the past two weeks, Bane has provided top-30 per-game value in eight-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. And he could be in for another good night on Wednesday, as the Magic host the Bucks again in their final game before the All-Star break.

Bane has now scored at least 22 points in five of his last six games. The 27-year-old shooting guard has gone a little cold from behind the three point line, shooting just 25 percent from behind the arc over the last four games. Bane has provided second-round per game value over the last two weeks, according to Basketball Monster. The Magic have four games upcoming in Week 17, starting with a home date with the Bucks on Monday.

The Magic trailed by 13 points after three quarters, but Bane got white hot in the fourth quarter and carried Orlando to victory. Desmond Bane notched 23 points (10-of-16 FGs), one rebound, five assists, two steals and three three-pointers in the win over the Heat on Monday.
Bane’s contributions on the offensive end played a big factor in Orlando ending its four-game losing streak on Wednesday. He made shots efficiently from behind the three-point line as well as inside it, while his contributions as a passer led him to finish as one of the Magic’s leaders in assists on the evening. Bane didn’t get to the free-throw line in this game and also failed to make much of an impact on the glass. However, his passing and production as a scorer were enough to land him a nice final line.

Desmond Bane produced 19 points (7-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in the loss to the Cavaliers on Monday.
Bane followed Saturday’s 20-point performance in a loss to Cleveland with similar production on Monday. The first-year Magic guard was productive from beyond the arc and, in his 38 minutes, finished as the Magic’s second-leading scorer for the game. Yet Bane went without an assist for the first time all season, and with his unspectacular assist total and pair of stocks, he didn’t provide fantasy managers with much production. He’ll have a chance to put up a better line on Wednesday against the Heat.

Desmond Bane tallied 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, three assists and two steals over 38 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers.
Orlando’s marquee offseason addition, Bane has been a consistent scoring threat, averaging 18.9 points through 44 games in his Magic debut. The 27-year-old guard has struggled from three-point range this season and was just 2-of-6 from downtown in this one. Simply put, Bane and Banchero haven’t supplied enough from an offensive standpoint which makes it critical to get Franz Wagner (ankle) back as quickly as possible.
