Aaron Gordon (right calf strain) and Peyton Watson (right adductor strain) are probable to play against the Warriors on Tuesday.

Both of Denver’s power forwards should be good to go in a matchup with Golden State. Gordon returned from an extended absence on Sunday, but Watson remained in the starting unit and logged 29 minutes to AG’s 23. As Gordon sees his minutes increase, he’ll eventually rejoin the starting lineup, but it’s unclear how long that will take.

Michael Porter Jr. (right eye injury) amassed 18 points (8-of-11 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Clippers.

Porter played well on Sunday but took an inadvertent shot to the face from James Harden during the fourth quarter. While he did return to the game after a brief period on the bench, it was clear that MPJ was struggling with the injury. Hopefully, he’ll be fine for Tuesday’s game against the Warriors, the first of four Denver plays during the first segment of the extended Week 7.

Jamal Murray finished Sunday’s loss to the Clippers with 18 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Murray’s scoring remains modest compared to his potential, but he’s been more efficient in Denver’s last two games. In matchups with the Jazz and Clippers, he’s scored 40 points on 17-of-30 shooting. Murray’s provided top-50 fantasy value over the previous two weeks, improving his season-long production. He’ll look to continue the improved play when the Nuggets host Golden State on Tuesday.

Nikola Jokic shot 12-of-24 from the field and 2-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s 126-122 loss to the Clippers, scoring 28 points with 14 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Jokic continued climbing the NBA career triple-doubles list, notching his 138th on Sunday. He’s now tied with Magic Johnson for third, trailing only Russell Westbrook and Oscar Robertson. Jokic remains the dominant force in fantasy basketball, ranking first in 8- and 9-cat formats. Denver plays six games in Week 7, including four during the first week of the extended period.

Sunday’s game was the first for Gordon in nearly a month, and he produced a decent stat line in his 23 minutes on the floor. However, he did not start for injury management reasons, with Peyton Watson remaining in the lineup. Watson played 29 minutes and recorded a complete stat line, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer. Watson will have modest value in deep leagues for as long as the Nuggets continue to restrict Gordon, with their next game scheduled for Tuesday against the Warriors.

While it was initially reported that Gordon would start in his first game since November 4, that is not the case. He’ll be used in a bench role, with Peyton Watson retaining his place in the starting five for at least one more game. Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic complete the quintet.
