Dennis Schroder amassed 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Wizards.
Schroder’s had a rough time since arriving in San Francisco mid-December, but things may be turning around. He’s reached double figures in five straight games, with Saturday’s point total being his best since before the trade. While he’s ranked outside the top 250 in 9-cat formats over the past month, Schroder’s status as a starter keeps him rostered in 54% of Yahoo leagues. Hopefully, Saturday’s performance serves as a catalyst for the veteran point guard.

Stephen Curry (bilateral knee injury management) and Brandin Podziemski (right abdominal injury management) are both out for Friday’s matchup with the Pacers.
Curry will sit out the second leg of Golden State’s back-to-back set, and Dennis Schroder (off the injury report) should see big minutes for the Warriors’ depleted backcourt. Buddy Hield and Moses Moody (off the injury report) could also pick up some extra minutes.

Dennis Schroder (left hip contusion) is available for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Schroder is available to play after being considered questionable on the initial injury report. He’ll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, but the veteran point guard has offered little fantasy value since being traded to the Warriors.

Dennis Schroder (hip) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
The Warriors backcourt could be in a tough spot Thursday with both Schroder and Stephen Curry (knee) listed as questionable. Golden State is set to play a back-to-back against the Pistons and Pacers. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Curry sit Thursday with an eye towards playing Friday while Schroder takes on more usage against the Pistons Thursday.

Stephen Curry (bilateral knee injury management) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s matchup with Sacramento.
Curry sat out the first leg of their back-to-back, but he’ll be back in the lineup for this game. Buddy Hield started in place of Curry in their last game, but he’ll return to the bench for this one.

Dennis Schroder shot 3-of-11 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, finishing with seven points, one rebound, and five assists in 24 minutes.
Working a new player into a team mid-season is rarely easy, and Schroder is the latest example. In five games with the Warriors, he has averaged 8.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.8 3-pointers in 26.3 minutes. Schroder hasn’t even provided the top 300 fantasy value since being traded, which is very concerning for managers who have him rostered.

Dennis Schroder had nine points (3-of-8 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Schroder continues to struggle with his new team. It’s only been two games, but he’s had two brutal showings already. For his fantasy managers, it’s obviously too early to panic. Selling low on Schroder after two bad games would be unwise and given his play with the Nets earlier this season he deserves some time to settle in with his new team. Still, it hasn’t been pretty in the early going.

Dennis Schroder shot 2-of-12 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Thursday’s loss to Memphis, accounting for five points, two rebounds, and five assists in 22 minutes.
Schroder made his Warriors debut on Thursday, and it did not go well. The assist tally was positive for fantasy managers, but they took a bath otherwise. The good news is that there’s still a lot of basketball to be played. Those who have Schroder rostered should not panic, as he’s been much better than this throughout the season. Being immediately thrust into the starting lineup is a positive, given his role in Brooklyn and questions regarding how things would change with the Warriors.

Dennis Schroder and Draymond Green will be in the starting lineup for Thursday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Schroder will start in his Warriors debut, likely bouncing Buddy Hield to the bench. While Hield can provide points and 3-pointers, the overall fantasy value has been limited. As for Green, he returns to the starting lineup after coming off the bench as recently as Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks. Jonathan Kuminga will come off the bench, negatively impacting his fantasy value.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Warriors are acquiring Dennis Schroder and a future second-round pick from the Nets.
The Warriors need backcourt help, and Schroder fits the bill. He’s been excellent this season, averaging 18.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.5 3-pointers per game. Schroder gives the Warriors another perimeter playmaker who can create for himself and others, an attribute that has been lacking. To acquire Schroder, the Warriors have sent De’Anthony Melton and three second-round picks to Brooklyn.
