DeMar DeRozan finished Friday’s 112-91 loss to the Heat with 22 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
DeRozan did what he could to lead the way for the Bulls, but Chicago shooting 38.0% from the field was too much for him to overcome on Friday. Not known for his 3-point shooting ability, Deebo shot 10-of-16 from beyond the arc in Chicago’s last four games. The 35-year-old wing will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and while the Bulls have expressed interest in bringing him back, it’s fair to wonder if running it back with essentially the same roster is the best idea. Zach LaVine (foot) and Lonzo Ball (knee) are rehabbing injuries, as is Patrick Williams (foot). DeRozan can certainly provide top-50 fantasy value; whether or not he does depends on where he’s playing and his role.

DeMar DeRozan posted a full line on Wednesday with 22 points (10-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and one triple against the Hawks.
DeRozan wasn’t the star of the show, but he was able to have an effective night statistically across the board. The Hawks really didn’t have any answers for Chicago’s offense, and DeRozan was no exception. He logged 44 minutes in this game, and he will likely take on a large role once again when they head to Miami to play on Friday. Alex Caruso suffered a foot sprain in this game, and he isn’t expected to play against the Heat, which just means that DeRozan will have to step up even more if they want to make it to the playoffs.

DeMar DeRozan played 44 minutes in Sunday’s 120-119 overtime loss to the Knicks, accounting for 30 points (11-of-24 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, four steals, one block, and two 3-pointers.
DeRozan had an opportunity to give Chicago the lead in the final seconds of overtime, but his mid-range jumper fell short. He ends the regular season scoring 30 points or more in four straight and five of his last six games, so it’s safe to say DeRozan is in good form heading into the Play-In tournament. That stretch began with a 31-point effort against the Hawks on April 1, but Atlanta won that game by 12. The two teams meet again on Wednesday in Chicago, with the winner visiting the loser of the 7/8 matchup between Philadelphia and Miami.

DeMar DeRozan (rest), Nikola Vucevic (rest), and Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) are absent from the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
After sitting out Friday’s win over the Wizards, DeRozan, Vucevic, and Caruso are off the injury report for Sunday’s regular-season finale. The Bulls are locked into the 9-seed in the East, which could impact how much the starters play in New York.

DeMar DeRozan (rest), Nikola Vucevic (rest), and Alex Caruso (left ankle contusion) are out for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
The Bulls are locked into the 9-seed in the East, so there’s little reason for them not to give their key players time to rest ahead of the Play-In tournament. Expect to see plenty of players, such as Dalen Terry, Javonte Green, Onuralp Bitim, Jevon Carter, and Adama Sanogo, to name a few.

DeMar DeRozan (rest) and Nikola Vucevic (rest) are doubtful for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
DeRozan and Vucevic were initially questionable for Friday’s game but are now doubtful. The Bulls are locked into the 9th seed in the East, so there isn’t much to be gained (or lost) at this point in the regular season. Dalen Terry, Javonte Green, Onuralp Bitim, Jevon Carter, and Adama Sanogo are some players in line to play extended minutes against the Wizards.

DeMar DeRozan (rest), Nikola Vucevic (rest) and Alex Caruso (left akle contusion) are questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Wizards, and Ayo Dosunmu (right quadriceps contusion) is out.
Coby White is the only Bulls starter who doesn’t carry an injury designation into Friday’s matchup with Washington, and he should handle a significant workload. If Chicago’s questionable players end up sitting this one out, guys like Dalen Terry, Onuralp Bitim, Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig should see extra run.

DeMar DeRozan shot 14-of-22 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line in Thursday’s 127-105 win over Detroit, scoring 39 points with four rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
DeRozan had a big night in Detroit and has scored 30 points or more in three straight and four of his last five games. Deebo was at his best in the third quarter, scoring 18 points as the Bulls continued to put separation between themselves and the Pistons. The four 3-pointers he made on six attempts are a season-high for DeRozan. Thursday’s victory locks Chicago into the 9-seed, meaning they’ll host the Hawks in a play-in game on Tuesday. As a result, it’s fair to wonder how much mainstays like DeRozan will play in the team’s final two regular season games.

DeMar DeRozan played 42 minutes in Tuesday’s 128-117 loss to the Knicks, accounting for 34 points (12-of-22 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer.
DeRozan led the way for the Bulls, who did not get much production beyond the trio of him, Nikola Vucevic, and Coby White. The Bulls wing has scored 30 or more in four of his last six outings, and he’s the biggest reason why Chicago continues to lead Atlanta in the race for 9th in the East (home-court advantage in the 9 vs. 10 play-in game). Games against the Pistons (Thursday) and Wizards (Friday) will be good opportunities for DeRozan to drop a few more 30-point games before the regular season concludes.

DeMar DeRozan shot 13-of-22 from the field and 4-of-7 from the foul line in Sunday’s 113-98 loss to the Magic, accounting for 30 points, three rebounds, and five assists in 40 minutes.
DeRozan scored a game-high 30 points and shot better than 50% from the field, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Orlando harassed him into seven turnovers, the most in a game for Deebo this season. DeRozan has scored 30 points or more in three of his last five games heading into Week 24, and the Bulls are still playing for the right to host the 9-seed vs. 10-seed game in the Play-In tournament. Despite Sunday’s defeat, Chicago leads Atlanta by one game in the loss column with four to play. Ayo Dosunmu had a similar Sunday night, as he recorded a solid stat line (14/4/4/3/1 with three 3-pointers) in his 36 minutes but also committed five turnovers.
