  • MIL Point Guard #4
Delon Wright has agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Bucks, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wright ended last season with Miami, where he played 14 games after the All-Star break for them. He played a significant role for them in the playoffs due to the amount of injuries the team was dealing with, and now he will head north to join a different contender. Wright will likely fill out the backup point guard minutes behind Damian Lillard, which should mean the end of Patrick Beverley’s time with the Bucks.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright, Tyler Herro, Caleb Martin, Nikola Jovic, and Bam Adebayo will start Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.
Another injury has forced Miami to change its starting lineup, with Jaime Jaquez Jr. (hip) joining Terry Rozier (neck) and Jimmy Butler (knee) on the sideline. As a result, Wright moves into the starting lineup for Game 5 as the Heat look to keep their season alive. He’s worth a look in DFS tournaments due to his low price tag, but players should not expect too much production-wise.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (right hip flexor strain) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.
Already playing without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, the last thing Miami needed was another injury. Jaquez injured his hip during Monday’s Game 4 defeat, limiting the rookie to 22 minutes. He will not play in what could be the Heat’s final game of the season, with Jaquez’s absence freeing up a spot in the starting lineup. Delon Wright, Haywood Highsmith, and Duncan Robinson (who’s dealing with left facet syndrome) are all available to absorb the minutes that would usually go to Jaquez.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (right hip) contributed nine points (4-of-10 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 22 minutes against Boston on Monday.
Jaquez said that he “felt something give” while going up for a rebound. Erik Spoelstra said that they will find out more on Tuesday, so hopefully there will be a clearer indication of his status for Game 5 on Wednesday. Miami has been playing without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, so losing Jaquez Jr. would likely mean more minutes for Delon Wright and Haywood Highsmith. #HeatCulture isn’t going down without a fight, but if they’re down another starter, it will be difficult for them to extend the series in Boston.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright (personal reasons) is available for Monday’s matchup with Miami.
Wright sat out Game 3, but he’ll be back in action after just one game on the sidelines. Expect him to handle a typical workload in Game 4.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright (personal reasons) is probable for Monday’s game against the Celtics.
Wright is expected to play after missing Saturday’s Game 3 defeat. With Terry Rozier (neck) sidelined, he should approach 20 minutes if cleared for Monday’s contest.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright (personal reasons) will not play in Game 3 against the Celtics on Saturday.
Wright has officially been ruled out after initially being listed as questionable for this game. That should result in minutes off the bench for Patty Mills, though Tyler Herro will continue to play most of the minutes at point guard.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright (personal reasons) is questionable for Saturday’s Game 3 against Boston.
With Terry Rozier (neck) sidelined, Wright has figured more prominently within the Heat rotation than many anticipated. After scoring 17 points in a Game 1 loss to the Celtics, he logged 20 minutes in Game 2 despite not having much of an impact from a statistical standpoint. Rozier is already out, so losing Wright would put the Heat in a problematic spot regarding bench depth.
  • MIA Point Guard #4
Delon Wright scored 17 points (6-of-7 FGs) alongside one rebound, two assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in the Heat’s loss to the Celtics on Sunday.
Wright led all bench scorers with 17 points and sank all five of his attempts from deep. The shorthanded Heat are likely to lean on him more moving forward.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier (neck spasms) will not play against the Bulls in their Play-In matchup on Friday.
Miami has already ruled Jimmy Butler out for multiple weeks, and Rozier won’t be Miami’s savior that gets them out of the Play-In Tournament. Tyler Herro will continue to start, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Delon Wright will take on extra minutes. Duncan Robinson, who was not part of the rotation for their game against the 76ers, may end up taking on a role in this game.
