Unrestricted free agent Darnell Jackson has signed with BC Donetsk.
It is unclear whether or not Jackson will have an out clause in his deal. A fringe NBA player, Jackson was made an unrestricted free agent when Sacramento declined to offer him a qualifying contract offer prior the lockout.

Jazz sign G Chris Quinn to a non-guaranteed contract.
Quinn will get a training camp invite after spending last season in Russia. Despite his NBA experience, it would be surprising to see him make the team. Trey Gilder, Darnell Jackson and Brian Butch will also be in camp with Utah.
  • MIA Coaching Staff #20
Jazz waive G Chris Quinn and F Darnell Jackson.
Both players were training camp bodies and weren’t expected to make the final roster.
  • IND Power Forward #2
Former Kings F Darnell Jackson is expected to attend training camp with the Jazz.
Jackson signed with BC Donetsk in the Ukraine during the lockout, but apparently hasn’t given up on playing in the NBA. He averaged 2.2 points in 138 appearances with the Cavs, Bucks and Kings, and he doesn’t have much of a chance to make Utah’s roster.
  • IND Power Forward #2
The Pacers have invited former Kings F Darnell Jackson to attend training camp.
Jackson spent the 2011-12 season in Ukraine before heading to the D-League last year, where he averaged 13.8 points and 6.7 rebounds in 28 minutes per game. Don’t expect to hear his name during the regular season.
  • IND Power Forward #2
Darnell Jackson has signed a deal with Polish side Rosa Radom.
The big man spent last season in Venezuela and hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2010-11 season. At 30 years old, he will finish his career overseas.
  • FA Center #17
Anderson Varejao missed Sunday’s game against the Spurs with a right wrist injury.
Darnell Jackson started in his place and Varejao should be considered day-to-day.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
The Cavaliers could be without five players, including LeBron James, on Wednesday when they play their arch rivals, the Wizards.
LeBron is dealing with an illness and is listed as questionable after missing shootaround. He usually gets one preseason game off anyway, and the Cavs would probably like to tick the Wiz off by not playing public enemy No. 1. Darnell Jackson (flu), Mo Williams (groin) and Danny Green (glute) have been ruled out, while Jamario Moon (wisdom teeth) is questionable after missing the last two games.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
Lebron James returned to Cavs practice Thursday after missing Wednesday’s game against the Wizards with the flu. James will travel with the team for a game Friday against the Spurs.
James and teammates Darnell Jackson and Coby Karl tested positive for Influenza A, and are awaiting H1N1 test results. Six Cleveland players have battled flu-like symptoms, but only Andre Barrett and J.J. Hickson are not making the trip to San Antonio.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
LeBron James has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Wizards due to the flu.
In addition, Darnell Jackson (flu), Mo Williams (groin), Danny Green (glute), Delonte West (personal) and Coby Karl (flu) are also out for tonight’s game. Jamario Moon is questionable after having wisdom teeth removed.
