Josh Okogie (hamstring) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Okogie will be available for Friday’s game after not playing in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors. He’ll likely bump DaQuan Jeffries from the starting lineup for the matchup with the reigning champions. Jeffries is not a must-roster player in active fantasy leagues.
  • CHA Small Forward #10
Josh Green (shoulder) and Josh Okogie (hamstring) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
The Hornets are short on physical wings. Okogie has been starting while Green has missed Charlotte’s last three games, but now both of them are out. DaQuan Jeffries could be poised for a return to the starting lineup against Toronto.
  • CHA Point Guard #3
KJ Simpson, Josh Okogie, DaQuan Jeffries, Miles Bridges and Mark Williams will start against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Jeffries will be back in the starting unit after coming off the bench on Sunday. Okogie replaced him in that game, but it will be Seth Curry that is the odd man out on Tuesday. He’ll still play a significant role off the bench.
  • CHA Small Forward #10
Josh Green (shoulder) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Tuesday’s game will be the third Green has missed since injuring his left shoulder during an April 2 loss to the Pacers. While DaQuan Jeffries made one start in his absence, Josh Okogie was the choice for Sunday’s loss to the Bulls. Neither player has been consistent enough to merit being streamed in Green’s absence.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #12
KJ Simpson, Seth Curry, Josh Okogie, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams will start against the Bulls on Sunday.
Okogie and Williams will replace DaQuan Jeffries and Jusuf Nurkic for Sunday’s game. Williams is returning from a one-game absence, while Okogie will simply be swapping spots in the rotation with Jeffries. It’s unclear how much Okogie will play, but Williams should carry his usual starter workload.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #8
Nick Smith Jr. (ankle) is questionable to play against the Kings on Friday.
Smith Jr. missed Wednesday’s game against Indiana and could miss another. Both DaQuan Jeffries and Josh Okogie took on extra minutes off the bench with Smith Jr. sidelined and could take on even more minutes with Josh Green sidelined if Smith Jr. misses another game.
  • CHA Small Forward #10
Josh Green (shoulder) is out for Friday’s game against the Kings.
Green left Wednesday’s game against the Pacers in the first with a shoulder injury and it appears the injury will linger, keeping him out Friday against the Kings. DaQuan Jeffries will likely continue to fill in for Green.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #8
Nick Smith Jr. (ankle) and Taj Gibson (illness) are out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Smith Jr. was downgraded to questionable Wednesday afternoon and subsequently ruled out with a left ankle injury. Taj Gibson is also out with an illness. With Smith Jr. out, DaQuan Jeffries and Josh Okogie figure to take up the vacated minutes.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #8
Nick Smith Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
After initially being listed as probable, Smith Jr. has been downgraded to questionable ahead of Charlotte’s matchup with Indiana. He has played a significant reserve role recently, so if he is sidelined on Wednesday, DaQuan Jeffries and Josh Okogie should take on extra minutes.
  • CHA Shooting Guard #8
Nick Smith Jr. (ankle) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
While Smith is on the Hornets’ initial injury report for Wednesday, the probable tag suggests he’ll be available to play. The second-year guard has come off the bench the last four games, serving as DaQuan Jeffries’ backup. That’s unlikely to change if Smith is available on Wednesday.
