Kevin Huerter (thumb) is out for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder.
With Lonzo Ball and Tre Jones also sidelined, Huerter’s injury could free up some additional playing time for Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hip) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Giddey is dealing with a sore right hip, hence his inclusion on the injury report. If he’s unable to play, the Bulls will have to rely even more on Coby White, who has been an outstanding fantasy option since the All-Star break. Dalen Terry, Talen Horton-Tucker and even Jevon Carter could be asked to play additional minutes if Giddey sits.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (wrist) and Nikola Vucevic (back) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
The Bulls could be without two starters for Thursday’s game, as Giddey and Vucevic are questionable. Giddey needing to miss a game would likely result in more playing time for Dalen Terry, who has not been productive enough to merit being streamed in most leagues. As for Vucevic, Zach Collins or Jalen Smith would start if he’s unable to play. Either replacement for Vooch would be worth streaming.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #25
Dalen Terry accounted for 14 points (5-of-10 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers in 28 minutes in Monday’s win over the Nuggets.
Terry has reached double figures in four of his last six games, and the 14 points tallied on Monday were the most for him since February 24. However, this is not a good enough reason to justify adding him in any fantasy leagues. While Terry shot 4-of-4 from beyond the arc, reaching that number has not been the norm. Add in the lack of defensive stats, and there’s much more for Terry to do before he can be rostered.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) is not on the injury report against the Lakers on Saturday.
Giddey missed Thursday’s game, which was the second night of a back-to-back. He’ll be back in the lineup to take on Los Angeles. Giddey came off the bench in his most recent appearance, but if Tre Jones (foot) is out, he’ll return to a starting role If Jones plays, Giddey could continue to come off the bench, or he could push Jones or Kevin Huerter to a reserve role. Either way, Dalen Terry won’t play 20 minutes again.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) has been downgraded to out against the Kings on Thursday.
Giddey will sit out the second night of Chicago’s back-to-back after returning from a three-game absence on Wednesday. Tre Jones will continue to start at point guard, and there should be extra reserve minutes for Dalen Terry and Talen Horton-Tucker, though their fantasy upside is limited.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic (calf) and Patrick Williams (quad) are out for Saturday’s matchup with Miami.
Zach Collins should continue to start in Vucevic’s place, making him a fine streaming option. Dalen Terry will be the biggest beneficiary of Williams’ absence.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (quad) and Kevin Huerter (knee) have been upgraded to available to play against the Magic on Thursday.
Giddey is back after missing Tuesday’s game, while Huerter is returning following a two-game absence. Tre Jones and Dalen Terry will both likely return to playing roles off the bench, though Jones should still see plenty of minutes. Unfortunately for Terry, he didn’t play a significant role even when he was in the starting unit.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #25
Dalen Terry shot 2-of-5 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the Cavaliers, scoring four points with one rebound and two assists in 16 minutes.
Terry was one of the replacements in the Bulls’ starting lineup Tuesday night. While Tre Jones provided value, that could not be said for Terry. As a result, Talen Horton-Tucker played 31 minutes off the bench and finished with 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers. With Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) out for the season, Terry should have additional opportunities to play rotation minutes. However, Horton-Tucker is the safer bet for deep-league managers seeking value.
  • CHI Point Guard #11
Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) says he expects a timeline of 4-to-6 months before he’s cleared to resume 5-on-5 activities.
On March 2, it was announced that Dosunmu would undergo season-ending surgery to address instability in his left shoulder. The procedure hasn’t occurred yet, but the Bulls guard is facing a lengthy recovery period. Dosunmu’s absence means more playing time for Dalen Terry, who has yet to establish himself as a player worthy of consistent rotation minutes.
