Jarrett Allen had 16 points (7-of-7 FGs), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Allen basically played a perfect game given that he was only out there for 21 minutes of the lopsided win, still recorded a double-double and didn’t miss a single shot from the field or at the foul line. It was his 11th double-double in 16 games this year. Allen has been one of the most consistent players in fantasy, providing top 40 value. Cleveland will have a few days off before taking on the Raptors on Sunday.
Georges Niang

Georges Niang had 20 points (6-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and six 3-pointers against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Niang came off the bench and only played 22 minutes of the blowout victory, but made 6-of-12 attempts from behind the 3-point line on his way to a 20-point game. He’s certainly on the streaming radar when the Cavaliers are missing multiple players as they did Wednesday.
Ty Jerome

CLE Point Guard #2

Ty Jerome had 29 points (10-of-19 FGs), three rebounds, one assist and seven 3-pointers in the Cavaliers’ 128-100 victory over the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Jerome stepped into the starting lineup with Darius Garland out and made the most of his opportunity Wednesday with a career-high 29 points. He had an incredible first half that included 27 points and 7-of-10 made 3-point attempts. Jerome only played 23 minutes in the blowout, which explains why he didn’t do much in the second half. Jerome is clearly a good streamer, but ultimately will play behind Garland and Caris LeVert when those two are healthy.

Updating a prior post, Jaylon Tyson will start Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans, not Georges Niang.

Instead of Niang, the Cavaliers will start their first-round pick on Wednesday. Tyson hasn’t provided much value thus far but hasn’t had many opportunities on this experienced roster. Niang remains the superior streaming option despite coming off the bench. Tyson joins Ty Jerome, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen in the starting five.

Ty Jerome, Donovan Mitchell, Georges Niang, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen will start Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.

With Darius Garland and multiple wings sidelined, Jerome and Niang move into the starting lineup for Cleveland’s second game in as many nights. Both are worth streaming in the spot, with Jerome being the preferred target. Nothing has changed for Mitchell, Mobley, or Allen.

Darius Garland (left groin soreness) and Caris LeVert (left knee inflammation) have been ruled out of Wednesday’s matchup with the Pelicans.

Garland and LeVert will join Sam Merrill, Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade on the Cavaliers’ injury report for the second leg of a back-to-back set. Cleveland is a heavy favorite, and the team is likely giving Garland and Co. some extra time off. Garland’s injury shouldn’t be considered serious. Craig Porter Jr. and Ty Jerome are expected to see increased run in Garland’s absence.
Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell had 35 points (13-of-29 FGs), one rebound, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Mitchell’s 35 points were a game-high. He wasn’t efficient, but with Cleveland playing shorthanded and Darius Garland shooting 3-of-21 from the field, someone had to take over the scoring load. Mitchell was up to the task as the Celtics only pulled away from the Cavs in the last minute, ending Cleveland’s undefeated streak at 15 to start the year. Mitchell had the day off on Sunday so he’ll definitely play Wednesday as the Cavaliers take on the Pelicans in the second game of a back-to-back.
Evan Mobley

Evan Mobley had a full stat line with 22 points (8-of-13 FGs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Mobley led a furious run by the Cavaliers in the third quarter to cut into what was once a 21-point lead by the Celtics. He was held without a point in the fourth quarter, though, and the Cavs ended up losing by three. It’s clear that Mobley has improved a lot on the offensive end this season and he’s providing top-40 fantasy value on the year. Cleveland will take on New Orleans on Wednesday in the second night of a back-to-back.
Sam Merrill

CLE Shooting Guard #5

Cavaliers will start Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Sam Merrill, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen on Tuesday against the Celtics.

Merrill moves into the starting lineup with Isaac Okoro (ankle) out on Tuesday. With Caris LeVert (knee) also set to miss the game against the Celtics, Merrill figures to play a lot tonight. He’s firmly on the streaming radar tonight and should some 3-point production for fantasy managers in deeper formats.

Sam Merrill (left ankle inflammation) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Celtics.

Merrill is back in the lineup after a three-game absence, and the timing could not be better due to Cleveland’s injuries on the wing. With Caris LeVert (knee) and Isaac Okoro (ankle) sidelined, Merrill should play more minutes. He’ll have value in deep leagues among managers needing 3-point production.
