Chris Webber is questionable for tonight’s game against the Jazz with a sore knee.
He missed his last game and it doesn’t sound like he’s going to play tonight, either.

Chris Webber said he and his teammates must be healthy before the Kings resume play Tuesday night against Atlanta.
Webber and Cuttino Mobley are dealing with nagging injuries, Mike Bibby rolled an ankle last night, Peja Stojakovic has been in-and-out with the flu and other ailments.

Coach Jim O’Brien stated that he’s ''really unsure of Chris [Webber’s] durability in back-to-back games.’'
''You would hope he’d be able to go 34 or 35 minutes a game in all games. We’re going to have to basically look at it. That’s something I’ve never had to try to do with Chris yet.’' Webber admitted he does need to rest his knee occasionally, but usually it’s on the day following back-to-back games.

Chris Webber said his plans are to rehab his injured left knee in three weeks and rejoin the Kings if they make it to the NBA Finals.
Team physician Richard Marder has said the odds are slim that Webber’s knee will heal soon enough for him to play again this season. The forward likely will eventually need surgery even if he rehabs now.

Chris Webber could be cleared to begin running after having his surgically repaired left knee examined by Dr. James Andrews next week.
It’s uncertain whether Webber will be ready for the start of the regular season. The Kings definitely aren’t going to rush him back.

Kings coach Rick Adelman doesn’t expect to have Chris Webber back until sometime between mid-December and early January.
Webber, coming back from knee surgery, was cleared for limited practice after being re-examined by James Andrews this week, but he’s still at least a month away from getting into game.

Chris Webber participated in his first team activity Monday, doing some shooting with the Kings.
Webber won’t return from knee surgery for at least a couple of more weeks. “Shooting is probably all he’ll do for a while until he gets a sense of where he is,” Kings coach Rick Adelman said.

Coach Rick Adelman said he expects Chris Webber to practice Feb. 2 after the team returns from a six-game trip.
The coach still isn’t sure of a return date for Webber, who is recovering from knee surgery.

Dr. Tarek Souryal, an expert in the type of microfracture knee surgery Chris Webber underwent, said Monday that Webber’s road back will be arduous and include difficulty in logging back-to-back games, managing practice time, and potential soreness that could sideline him for stretches of games.
It is also possible Webber could overcompensate and injure other joints. It’s very likely the Kings will go easy with him during the regular season and save him for the playoffs.
